"There you are, hiding with that precious boy that clings to you, I bet he only clings to simply because of your outward appearance, if only he knew how many people Satan killed during the night of the blue flames"
"W-What are you talking about?!"
I stood up, ready to draw Kurikara, thanks to my promise with Léo, I finally feel a bit braver now, since he's with me, I can't let the teacher hurt him.
Before I could draw Kurikara, I ended up hearing gunshots.
The teacher soon ran away as Rein passed by, chasing after him.
"L-Léo, s-stay h-here p-please, I don't want you to get hurt"
He nods as I quickly run after Rein in an attempt to help him.
It takes a bit, but I soon catch with both of them, up on the rooftop.
"Well now, you may think you have cornered me, but I know the perfect way to deal with you both"
As he cuts his arm to let blood out into the magic circle he made, a giant sludge-like monster emerges from the magic circle.
Before I could draw Kurikara, the sludge demon quickly grabbed me with its slimy tentacles.
As the sludge monster squeezed me, I felt like I was being flattened.
Before Rein could help me, the teacher spoke up.
"Take one step and the sludge demon will kill her!"
Rein only stood still, holding his gun with his finger on the trigger, ready to shoot at any moment.
"Drop the gun, and I'll let her go"
Rein quickly shot the teacher as he dashed to the magic circle.
I didn't realize it, but the sludge demon was eating away at my clothing, even when I felt something rub against me, I soon had an idea of the demon was planning.
As Rein quickly dashed to the magic circle, I could feel myself being squeezed tighter and tighter, I couldn't even breathe at this point.
However, it didn't last for long thankfully, Rein managed to mess up the magic circle as I fell down.
I couldn't feel any pain, it was most likely due to the adrenaline rush I got.
As I slowly got up and drew Kurikara, the teacher only raised his hands in the air.
"Well, you win, you're clearly proven to be better than me"
"Why are you so obsessed with trying to kill Luna?!"
"To avoid the night of the blue flames, I never want another one to happen again, therefore if I killed her, I wouldn't have to worry about it, but, since you bested me, I'll stop"
The teacher left to go and turn himself in, however, I soon dropped back down to my knees, having to use Kurikara to support me.
"That was reckless, you could've gotten yourself killed"
"B-But, if I-I didn't help, w-who knows what would've happened to you"
I can hardly continue to use Kurikara to support me.
"Now we just wait till you fast healing takes into effect"
"M-My what?"
It didn't matter what he said, I seemed to just be able to stand up instantly without a problem.
Well, it is late, it'd be best for me to go back to sleep, but before I could walk back down to my dorm room, I'm soon stopped by Léo.
"I feel relieved knowing that you're fine, but, the wound the demon left, the demon's temptaint, will you be alright?"
"Yes, she'll be fine, she's a demon herself as well, a demon's temptaint to her is the equivalent of a scratch"
My body feels heavy, I must have really pushed myself too hard.
"W-Well, I'm going to bed, I-I'm tired"
Before I could walk I instantly collapsed.
I knew I was tired, but I didn't realize I was much more tired than I thought.
Once morning came around, I woke up, fully refreshed and in my room as well, but as I looked down at myself, I had to cover my mouth to mute my scream.
To my horror, I still didn't have clothes on, I may normally sleep without clothes, but the fact that I was carried here without clothes makes me feel a bit tense.
"Nice to see your awake, there's no school today, especially after what happened, but they dealt with that teacher, anyways, I'm supposed to be going to check out this case"
"O-Oh, can I g-go with you?"
"You're an exwire, you'll have a hard time trying to even defend yourself as well, especially after how I saw what happened to you during that battle against the teacher"
"P-Please, j-just give me another chance, I-I can take care of myself I-I promise"
"Fine, I need to bring something along with me, I get the feeling it might be holy water, even if our mother left this behind, she told me to use this if the demon we're dealing with went on a rampage"
As we hear the destruction of the rampaging demon close by, we quickly run out of the dorm with our stuff.
It doesn't take us long to get the sight, but it seems the guards we're talking about how Dragonia died, and them discussing it could've lead to the demon's rampage.
When we go up to the row of exorcists, ready to fire tranquilizers at it, the demon only becomes furious, as it shakes the tranquilizers off of it.
I'm quite surprised though, how is a demon that's my height able to cause so much damage, and I'm average height for my gender.
"Your all liars, Dragonia is coming back, I know she is, I won't listen to you liars!"
That's strange, it's like the demon talked, the other exorcists though can't seem to understand what it's saying.
The exorcists seem to only continue to shoot at it with tranquilizer darts, in hopes it might calm it down and get it to sleep, but it only became more enraged, summoning flames to burn away the tranquilizer darts.
As it slowly walked forward, the exorcists seem to be picked up and thrown, even though the demon wasn't even close to them.
"Your all liars, I won't listen to any of you!"
As it became more enraged, more flames appeared, restraining all of the exorcists, even Rein was restrained by the flames.
The flames didn't seem to be hurting them, it only kept them still, the only one who wasn't affected was me.
