I'm not gonna write about school because:
A) most of uS DON'T LIKE SCHOOL ALL THAT MUCH.
B) I'm homeschooled so there is a high probability that I could mess up a lil'.
And C) I'm kinda lazy.

You finally escaped school, and arrived home exhausted. After taking a well deserved shower and eating, you collapsed in your bed for a nap. Right before you drifted to sleep, you heard a clatter in the alley outside. You reluctantly got up and stuck your head out, and saw the cat from a few days before, playing with a can.
You close your window and fall in bed, asleep before your head hit the pillow.
After what seemed like one millisecond, but was really two hours, you woke up, groggy and hungry. You shuffled to the kitchen and grabbed a snack, checking the microwave for the time.
"7:30." You yawned to yourself.
You went back to your room, remembering your mom would be back by 8:00 or 8:30. Depending on the day. To pass the time you scrolled through your favorite website. When you begin to hear tapping, you thought maybe rain or something, but it was neither. Glancing at your window, you suddenly screamed, and fell off your bed seeing a round green face with freckles, and baby blue eyes, knocking on your window with a large grin.
"M-M-M-Mooooom!!!" You shouted, although you knew she still wasn't home. You hoped that they'd get scared and leave, thinking another person was home.
The stranger looked in, as it was dark, and saw you. He, as you presumed it was a male, waved, and moved to the side from three more faces to come to view.
"OH MY GOSH!!" You blurted out, and ran to your closet, slamming the door shut and sitting on the floor, hugging your knees to your chest. In the darkness, you realized your didn't lock your window, and prayed they didn't-

They did.
You barricaded the door with a hanger, and pressed yourself to the far wall. The doorknob started jiggling, then stopped.
"Y/n~?" A sort of immature, young voice called your name, and your heart pounded so hard you thought it'd fall out of your chest.
"G-go a-away!" You ordered, your voice cracking from the oncoming tears.
"Sunshine, come out. Don't you remember me? Mikey?" The speaker paused for a moment before adding, "the Leaf pile?"
"I-I said g-go a-away!" You began to cry, and the doorknob began to jiggle again.
"Y/n, Peanut, c'mon out. You remember us. Remember me? Volcano man? Raph?" Another voice said, gruff and low, holding a kind and loving tone to it. But you were too afraid to notice. Your sobs could be heard, clear as day, as you sunk to the floor, shaking with fear.
Suddenly, a blade came through the small space between the doors, slicing through the hanger, and the door opened. You crawled to the back and hid in a pile of clothes. The first one that came in had a deep deep blue mask, and cobalt blue eyes. He resheathed one out of two of his katana blades to his back, that he used to open the door, and he wore a brown belt around his... shell?!
"Y/n, little princess? Come out." He called softly, looking around carefully.
"Flower?" Another voice called, and you saw another in the dim light, with what you thought was a purple mask, and a large stick on his back, or shell, whatever the heck you'd call it. You tried to make yourself as small as possible, clamping your eyes shut and hoping this was all a whacked out dream. While your eyes were closed, Leo spotted you, and nudged Donnie, who then saw you, and moved the pile of clothes and boxes acting as your shelter, all of the strangers kneeling down in front of you.
"Little Princess..?"
"Sunshine!"
"Peanut?"
"Flower.."
They called you by your special nickname with fondness, and, shaking in fear, you opened one e/c eye, meeting deep blue, chocolate brown, emerald green, and baby blue eyes.
"Hi!" Mikey smiles, the chains on his weapons clinking slightly with his movement. You saw he wore an orange bandanna, with a Kusarigama hanging on his belt.
The one with a red mask slowly reached out. You leaned as far back as you could from his touch, until you were pressed uncomfortably against the wall. His large green thumb grazed over your cheek, drying your tears.
"Hey Peanut." He smirked, pulling back his hand.
"Wh-who.. w-wh-what a-are you..?" You whisper, rubbing one eye.
"Uh, teenage mutant ninja turtles." Leo replied, flicking the tails of his bandanna off his shoulder calmly. You blinked, then rubbed both eyes.
"It's a dream.. it's a dream.. it's a dream!" You murmur, but when you remove your hands, they're still there. "Why are you.. wh-" you begin to sob again, and the boys weren't sure if they're allowed to comfort you. Donnie places a hesitant hand on yours, and you cry harder.
"You're supposed to be imaginary.. you can't be real.. I wanted to forget.." you whispered between sobs. Finally, you look up at them, red eyed, with all but heartbreak and pain in your eyes.
"Why did you leave me?" You choke out, and they all look down with shame.
"Th-that's a very long story.." Donnie starts, and you sniff.
"G-give me a straight answer. Short a-and simple. Did y-you want t-to come b-back?" You say, breaths short and shaky as you wait for a reply.
"Yes." They all respond, staring at you with sad eyes.
"It killed us every single day, not being able to see you, Peanut. We had to save our world." Raph explained sadly, and the others nodded.
You swallow the lump in your throat, breathing in deeply. You examine all of them for a moment before speaking.
"Y-you're real? Y-you're n-not imaginary?"
Mikey smiled sadly, taking your hand and placing it over his beating heart.
"Does that feel imaginary?"
"N-no.." you sniff again. You slowly stand, and they do too, shuffling out so you can exit your closet. You wipe your eyes, and stand there awkwardly.
"S-so.. w-what do you guys d-do?"
Leo opens his mouth to speak, but is cut short when your mom announces her return by slamming the door shut, on accident.
"Oops. Y/n, sweetie! I'm home!" She calls, and you express shock and panic, waving for them to skiddattle.
"Uh, h-hey mom! I-I'll be down in a sec!" You shout back, looking at the friends you just got back, gathered in front of the window they came from.
"Y/n, we can only see you once a year! On this night! We wanted to apologize, for abandoning you." Leo explains, and they all nod, looking to you with hopeful eyes.
"I-I.." you pause, thinking, then take a breath. "I f-forgive you."
They beamed, and after a moment, Mikey charged forward and held you tight in his arms, and his brothers joined the hug after you accept Mikey's. It felt good, warm, safe, and you felt like you belonged. In the bliss of the hug, the five of you didn't notice the white pulsing light surrounding you, growing brighter and brighter with each passing second. Soon it became blinding, although you didn't see because all your eyes were closed, and a blast of energy suddenly explodes from the light, knocking all of you out cold, including your mother downstairs. The light forms a bubble around you and the turtles, swallowing you up.
After a few moments, your mother comes to, and shakes her head wearily before heading upstairs, to your room, opening the door to a dusty room full of clutter, with no trace of you. Your mother didn't express any distress, and walked in, searching the boxes for who knows what.
The memory of her daughter was gone.

The turtles dimension- Lair:
Back at the Lair, the boys are forced out of the shadow doubles, which then vanish, never to return. Leo holds his pounding head, then jumps up with realization.
"Guys... what happened to Y/n?!"
Across town:
You stood, rubbing your temples as your vision returns to normal. Everything is in place, aside from the gIANT SCORCH MARKS IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR ROOM!
You whirl around, unable to understand.
You run to your door and try to open it, but it's locked, from the outside.
"Wh-what?!" You whisper, jiggling the doorknob and pushing against the door. Nothing. You sit on the floor, thinking.
When nothing comes to mind, you close and lock your windows, then curl up in your bed, hugging your pillow in fear.
You stay like that until you fall asleep.
