Nightmares
"Y/n... look at us."
Your vision is blurred by your tears, the blazing fire below reminding you not to loosen your grip. Your pants are ripped and dirty, your tank top is missing a strap, and your entire body is sore.
You look down at the Turtles, holding on to the railing that you're preventing from falling into the fire.
"Please, don't do it." You beg them, not caring that your voice cracks more than once, that your ears are screaming, along with every muscle in your body.
"Y/n, if we don't, you'll come down with us." Leo remarks, trying his best to look brave for you.
"Y/n, we have to let go." Donnie speaks, his chestnut brown eyes brimming with tears.
"No. No, I won't let you. I can't let you. Please.." you sob.
"Y/n, we love you." Mikey sends you a teary smile, his grip growing weaker, along with his brothers.
"More than you know." Raph adds, sniffing.
"No, don't do this to me. Please. L-Leo, try to put out the fire! Raph, t-take it under control! Donnie, make a-an earth bridge! Mikey, lift us u-up, out of h-here!"
"Y/n, the Kraang took our powers. We're, sort of normal now." Leo reminds you.
"W-well, I have to do something!" You choke out.
"I'm afraid you can't do anything this time." Leo replies, and with a sad smile, they let go if the railing.
The sudden decrease of weight makes you fall back, and your head whips back, hitting the concrete wall. Warm blood trickles down the back of your neck, but you don't notice as you scramble forward, peering over the edge of the walkway, managing to see the silhouettes of your four friends being swallowed by the fire.
You scream for them, but nothing comes out. You sob violently, but hear nothing. Your heart shatters, and you feel numb.

"Y/n. Y/n! Y/n, wake up!" Leo shakes your shoulders, but you don't respond. He places his hand over your forehead, but you feel fine.
"Well?" Raph inquires from the doorway, with Mikey next to him, holding a bag of chips.
"She's out cold. So's Donnie. I don't know what's going on." Leo sighs, staring at you.
"I'll bet she's just tired. Did you see her and April training?" Mikey remarks, walking away while munching on his chips. Raph shrugs and follows Mikey. Leo looks back at you, and brushes some hair from your face.
"Sleep well, Princess." Leo smiles, and leaves.

You run down the stairs, almost tripping, and jump the last four steps, heading for the Turtles, or at least, where you think they landed.
You skid to a halt, standing before an enormous pile of rubble. The flames around you have died down, but still linger, their heat beating on your face, causing beads of sweat to line your brow. You wipe your sweaty palms on your dirty jeans, and begin to move a smoldering plank, hissing when your hands scream with pain. You ignore it and continue, repeatedly burning your hands on flaming boards, cutting them on jagged rocks and chunks of concrete. You move an especially large rock, uncovering a dark green hand.
"Raph.." you gasp, and work faster, until all four turtles are uncovered completely. You pull them out more, and tear up when you see the giant scratches, bruises and gashes littering their bodies.
"Guys... why'd you have to be so stupid.. so heroic.." You sob, kneeling next to them.
You stare at them through your tears, and in one last attempt to hold on to hope, you search for a pulse.
"Please.. please.. don't do this to me.." You whisper as your search is fruitless. You check again. And again. Once more, you tell yourself, growing weaker with each passing moment.
Finally, you accept the truth, with a large sob.
The turtles are dead.
And it's your fault.

April drags Donnie out to the living room where he, Leo, Raph and Mikey are trapped in an deep slumber. They grow weaker as they sleep, as do you.
"Wait.. Casey, where's Y/n?!" April exclaims, jumping up with the hockey player. They run upstairs to your room, and find you sound asleep.
"Oh no." Casey groans. April has Casey carry you downstairs, and he lays you down next to Donnie on the floor. You lean on his shoulder in your sleep, your mind in chaos while April and Casey try to solve this mystery. Casey goes to investigate the weird shopkeeper and his book from earlier, while April tries to reach the Turtles in their dreams.

Before you know what's happening, everything around you is.. melting. Spots of black seep through your surroundings, like an infection, until you're surrounded by black, once again. You hear noises, and run to it, your shoes echoing over and over again.
Then, you're in the woods, with the full moon overhead. A large boulder of some sort is a few feet away from you, and in the distance, you see Leo sprinting around at an inhuman speed. You run to him, only for him to sprint away. You call his name, still running after him, but Leo doesn't seem to hear you.
Finally he stops, and you stop next to him. He looks scared, and his eyes dart around.
"Leo? L-Leonardo..?" You say, waving g a hand in front of his face. He doesn't reply.
"You can't see me, can you?" You sigh, watching as he walks away. "Well then.. I ate your slice of pizza three months ago!" You smirk, then jump back in surprise when Leo's hit by something, flying away.
"LEO!" You scream, running in his direction. You see him in the distance, surrounded by a large crater. But before you reach him, everything is back to black.
You hear noises again, like, heavy metal.. and you're drawn to it.
Fire.. everywhere. It's all around you, but you don't feel it. In the distance, you see Raph strapped to a chair by.. snakes? And the others playing guitars on pedestals.
You try to get Raph's attention, you scream his name, but the music is too loud.
What snags your attention is the giant snake heading to Raph, eating his brothers along the way. You start running to Raph, but you're knocked back by some force field. Kicking and pounding on the invisible wall, you scream Raph's name, but he doesn't hear you, and everything goes black again.
-This is messed up- You think, questioning the realistic-ness of this.
"AM I DREAMING?! CAUSE IF I AM, I'D LIKE TO WAKE UP NOW!" You shout to nothing, expecting no response. When you do, you nearly jump out of your skin.
"I'm afraid that won't be happening. You're just.. too delectable to give up." A menacing voice speaks from seemingly nowhere, just as you're transported to a deserted street.
Donnie runs past, and you feel like you should follow him.
He takes a sharp turn to an alleyway and jumps in a dumpster. You hear his heavy breathing, like he's been running for a while, and then his high pitched scream. He jumps up and runs off, and all you can do is follow.
And, of course, just before you reach him, everything goes black.
"THIS IS RIDICULOUS!" You shout, seeing a light nearby. You trudge towards it, not even fazed when you're in a candy land. Marching past giant lollipops, chocolate falls and marshmallow fluff hills, you find Mikey and a weird, pink beaver playing ball.
"Only Mikey." You chuckle, and walk closer. Coming between them, you watch as the ball bounces from Mikey to the beaver repeatedly. After a while it gets boring.
"Ok, can I go yet?"
"Of course Y/n. You're free to go wherever you want." Mikey replies, to your shock.
"You can see me?" You smile, standing next to him.
"Of course. In my dreams, I can do anything!" Mikey grins, and plants a kiss to your cheek. You gasp, and Mikey grins wider.
"Th-that was a f-friendly kiss." He lies, blushing.
"Ok, ew, I don't want to see anymore." The voice from earlier growls, pulling you away and back to oblivion.

You had no idea where you were. All you knew was, you were watching the Turtles battle Dream Beavers. Yeah, it's a kooky as it sounds.
It felt like you were floating, but truth be told, you couldn't really trust anything right now.
It was all chaos, and as of now, it didn't look like the Turtles would make it, stuck in their shells, on a conveyor belt heading towards a fiery inferno. You started to freak out, attempting to get to them, anything to help them.
Then, a weird pulse ripples across your view, and everything around you disintegrates.

You awake with a yawn, not yet noticing that your head is resting comfortably on Donatello's shoulder. Donnie, however, notices right away, and blushes bright red. You see his blush, but say nothing as you stand up.
An old guy is freaking out about the Dream Beavers crossing over, and lying on the floor is a book, with a shattered device in it. A strange pink light shoots up from it, and everyone gets ready for something big. What you get are, as Casey puts it, "Plushies."
"Aww, their so cute, I almost don't want to pound them for giving me that horrible nightmare." You growl, and the Beavers yelp, leaving with haste.
The old man sighs, looking very tired.
"Well Casey, April, giant talking turtles and strange girl, I've been awake for forty years for no good reason. So, if you'll excuse me.."
Then he fell to the floor, sound asleep and snoring loud.
With that adventure out of the way, you all went about your business, with Mikey smiling to himself, and blushing slightly.
Ok, this chapter was kinda crazy, but tbh, so was that episode. And it's 3:22 when I finished this.
Enjoy the madness!
