"Um..." Mason said as he backed up and hit his back on one of tbe chairs, gulping, "Uh... Will this hurt any?" he asked.

"We are unsure... It affected us all differently." Kelly said as he looked at Mason was a sad face.

"W-well how do I become one in your group?" Mason asked as he looked at others, hoping they would tell him.

"Well..." Nick said and acted like he was thinking, "You have to see!" he said.

"I can tell ya!" Nicole said.

Nick facepalmed himself, "Ugh... Kids ruin everything!" he complained.

Nicole huffed and cleared her throat, "Well... Kyle's way to become one of us works.. Or use too.. We don't know if it does but... On the other end of this tunnel he made a room, we put you in there, and close the door and lock it. On the walls in the room is some sort of ancient writing, and as the moonlight shines on you, you'll change!" she explained.

"Okay... How bad could this be?" Mason asked.

"Depends." Kyle said.

"I want to slap you at times like this!" Mason told Kyle which made the others laugh.

Kyle laughed a little and sighed, "Should we start now? Of course we should!" he said and grabbed Mason's arm and began to drag him to the room at the end of the tunnel.

Kyle shoved Mason into the room and walked in with him, "Okay.. Hand me your jacket." he ordered.

Mason sighed and took off his jacket and looked at him as he left the room, and closed the door, along with the sound of locks in place.

Masom gulped and looked around at the walls, Nicole was joking, Kyle painted ancient nonsense on the walls which was driving him insane.

Then trouble came as the moonlight was over him, he looked up to see another manhole cover, which was one, but it was meant to drain rainwater.

He gripped his head in pain and began to yell in pain, he knew what was happening, the changes.

The first thing to change was his hands, morphing into paws, anthropomorphic paws.

He used his claws to tear his shirt apart and fell to the floor, he grew paw pads and fur went up to his arms, he groaned and tried to hold back the pain.

"The pain! Oh. My.. GOD!!!" Mason screamed as the fur went up to his shoulders and made its way to his chest and back.

He felt a shearing pain at the end of his spine and knew what was next, his tail was growing.

As his tail grew, his ears become pointed and moved to the top of his head and his face pushed out into a muzzle, he held his new muzzle in pain.

His tail finished and made a long tear in his jeans as the fur ran down his legs, and like his hands, his feet suffered the same.

As the changes finished, he stood up, and sighed in relief as the pain stopped.. Only...

To find out that the pain returned, but a burning pain, it was on his right shoulder, he held it until the burning stopped.

But it returned once more, but on his tail and arms, he fell onto the ground and stood up again, then yelled as his tail and arms caught on fire... But then...

It felt natural... Like it was apart of him, he chuckled, but through the pain, his body couldn't take it, after a few moments, he slowly fell down.. And went unconscious.
