Taehyung's POV

"Damn it, Taehyung!" I heard Yoongi shout as I jumped over the car, ice covering my fingertips. "I got him! Don't worry!" I shouted in return, racing down the street, passing bystanders on the way. Lightning flashed next to me, a smiling Hoseok running on the sidewalk.

"Think you're going alone? Who knows what kind of powers this guy has!" He shouted, sparks flying off his body. I smiled, nodding as he raced down the street and took a turn at the corner. An alleyway, perfect. And sure enough, the creature was there, smirking cockily.

"Walked right into my trap," He said, voice practically inaudible and laced with a thick accent I wasn't sure if I've heard before. I looked around, watching as the walls began to cave in, pushing towards Hoseok and I. Damn it. "Go! I got it!" He shouted, lightning forming on his fingertips.

"And leave you? Fuck no, dude!" I shouted in return, looking at our enemy. He was still smirking, yet the walls weren't crushing him where he was standing. That's the weak spot then. I darted forward, spraying water all over the guy's body, yelling at Hoseok.

"Now or never! We're running out of time!" He didn't hesitate, lightning hitting the guy's body and shocking him so hard he sizzled, literally. He shook and screamed, body falling to the floor as the walls froze. I nodded, pressing my hand to his foot, letting the ice trap him to the ground.

"Let's go before we get ganged upon. Fighting in a narrow alley ain't my forte," I said, wings forming as I flew upwards, heading for the sky. The winds picked up from around us, a clear indication that Jimin was nearby. I looked around, spotting our friends all over the city.

Off in the distance, a giant was seen heading for the city with a few others, a curse fleeing my lips. "I gotta go help Jimin! Go after Yoongi! He's being ganged up on!" I looked down at the city again, spotting four on Yoongi as he turned invisible and ran through the streets.

"We got more coming! We need to hurry!" Hoseok nodded, lighting hitting the streets. "Yes, but we also gotta make sure we aren't putting these civilians lives at risk! Help the others then we'll worry about the ones coming in!" I nodded, flying towards Yoongi and forming tendrils from my palm.

They hit the ground, creating holes as I landed, shielding my teammate from an enemy attack. We fought together, killing off the targets one by one. "By me some time! I need a minute!" He shouted, backing off the creatures while I kept my ground. "You're good!" I replied, throwing some water in his direction. Shield him.

I threw spikes of ice at the enemies, cutting their arms and legs while they screamed. Some weird liquid poured from one enemy's body, the odor enough to make me gag. Water shielded me, forming an orb around my body as I kept fighting. We can't let them reach civilians.

"How much longer?!" I asked, throwing a tendril around someone and letting it choke them. I turned for a second to look at Yoongi, my eyes widening and body freezing when I saw what he was doing. Spirits surrounded him, both good and evil, forming what looked like an army.

Spirit. It makes sense. He controls the dead.

"Move!" He shouted, my wings instantly pushing me off the ground and into the sky. The spirits charged, running through the creatures, taking over their bodies, and breaking their bones. You can't even counter against that! They're spirits! I watched as Yoongi charged too, half invisible and with power surging around him.

"Go help the others! I've got an army to help me!" He shouted, throwing a thumbs up into the air followed by a peace sign. I nodded, flying over the city, watching as lightning struck the ground. I spotted Jimin, Hoseok, and Jungkook nearby, fighting off about thirty new targets. Fuck, they're getting closer.

I landed, throwing spikes of ice over my friends' heads and joining in on the battle. "What happened to Yoongi?" Hoseok asked, ducking under an attack and rolling on the ground. "He's fine! The spirit wielder has a spirit army on his side!" I shouted, water shooting from my palm and knocking an enemy back.

"Sounds like him!" Jimin shouted with a smile, winds picking up around us. We need to wipe these guys out with one strong powerful attack, but what? I looked at my friends, my eyes widening in realization. Lightning. Water. Ice. Fire. Wind.

Let's create a storm.

Ice shielded the area around all of us, providing us some cover for a few seconds. "We need to wipe them out. We can't keep throwing small attacks." Jimin nodded, a wind barrier forming around us as well. "So then what do we do?" I let water and ice form on my hands, putting them in the center of our little circle.

"We use the elements. Let's create a storm." Hoseok's eyes lit up, literally, sparks flying off his hair and fingertips. "Okay. How do we do this?" I smirked, pointing at the lightning wielder. "You're in charge of lightning. Send lots of it down to strike the enemies." Then I pointed at Jimin.

"You're in charge of the winds. Blow them away, or keep them from running." He nodded, my eyes landing on Jungkook. "You and I," I said, pointing at him, "We're in charge of the storm itself. Let's make it rain." He smirked, nodding as our wind barrier and ice cover disappeared.

There were even more of them around us. We all pressed our backs together, my left hand finding Jungkook's right hand. Our fingers intertwined and I closed my eyes. "Concentrate. We can do this. When you hear the thunder roar, let your magic fly." They agreed, all four of us getting ready.

"Our time to shine, Cupcake." He smiled, looking up at the sky while I did the same. We threw one hand into the air each, aiming for the clouds. He used his heat while I used my cold, the two swirling together. Water was added into the mix and sure enough, the clouds turned dark and they covered the sky completely.

Not only did the sky grow dark but so did the streets. Things were rumbling and the enemies were heard charging. I added even more water into the clouds, watching as it began to fall, pouring down upon all of us.

Then, the thunder roared and that's all it took for lightning to strike.

Hoseok was completely lit up, the light was seen in his eyes and on his fingertips. Jimin had his eyes closed as he concentrated, winds blowing from around us, hot and cold. He's making a tornado. "Whatever you do, keep that tornado under your control. We can't risk killing innocent civilians," I said softly, seeing him nod.

"I would never," He smiled, opening his eyes and using his hands to form a tornado right in front of us. Everything came down in one go, thunder heard in the sky, lightning hitting the ground and electrifying the streets. Rain poured so hard, causing the enemies to slip and slide against one another.

"All yours, Jimin and Hoseok! Wipe them out!" They nodded, putting their magic to the test and hitting the enemies with it. The lightning was strong and bright, and the water wasn't helping. I smiled, looking at Jungkook who was surrounded by a water barrier. His fire doesn't work too well when he's wet, after all.

The battle ended soon enough with the winners quite clear. I pointed up at the sky, watching as the clouds remained dark. That wasn't what my attention was pointed towards, though, it was the figures I made out behind the clouds. Did they look like.. Gods? "Smoldris," Jungkook whispered, pointing to the sky.

And he was right, there were all of our gods seen behind the clouds. My eyes were wide, head tilted a bit. What were they doing? They can't come down to earth! "We don't have time to sit and wonder what they're doing!" Jimin shouted, pointing off in a different direction. "There's more and we need to help our friends!"

"Jimin's right," Hoseok said, flashing a small smile. "Come on. Taehyung, think you can get us to them quickly?" I nodded, aiming my palm at the ground. Teleport us to our friends. The portal opened up, creating a sound similar to a roar. "Go!" Jimin jumped in first, followed by Jungkook and Hoseok and finally myself.

We were on the other side of the city, with Namjoon, Jin, and Yoongi. The portal was closed and, holy shit, there were hundreds of creatures plus three giants. Oh my god. They're multiplying. "Where did they all come from?!" Jin shouted, taking a few steps back.

We joined in a circle, backs facing one another's as we stared at our targets. There's too many. "What do we do?" Yoongi asked, looking around. What do we do? Fuck. We needed time. We needed something we don't have. There's too many of them and too little of us. "Taehyung?" Jungkook asked, eyes big.

"What do we do?" I shook my head slowly, biting my lip and looking at the enemies. Damn it, think! My thoughts were gone when they rushed us, my eyes narrowing as my emotions took over. Water surrounded my friends and I, as well as darkness, forming a barrier to shield us away from the targets.

If only we could freeze time.

My eyes widened, jaw falling open. That's it!

Freeze!

I stepped out of the barrier, flying into the air and spiraling quickly. My arms outstretched, and just like that, ice-covered the ground and the buildings, freezing everything in sight. The enemies were completely encased in ice, frozen alive and unable to move. The giants were frozen to the ground with thick compacted ice that was unbreakable.

Civilians were protected inside the buildings, my body coming down to the floor again. My friends looked at me, eyes wide and smiles on their faces. "Good thinking, Taehyung!" Jimin shouted, my barrier removing from around them. "Let's not waste any more time. We need to wipe these clean before they send more!"

"What's the plan then?" Namjoon asked, smiling from ear to ear. I smiled too, taking his hand in mine. "What did you have in mind, leader?" His eyes widened but he only smiled more. He looked around, nodding to himself. "We split off into small teams. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung, you take that half. Yoongi, Hoseok, and I will take this half."

"Hoseok, think you can give us some electric shocks to break that ice? The impact will be hard enough to knock them back. Yoongi, control them. You're in charge of Spirit, so show us what you can do. I'll use my light rays to burn the evil out of them, which will also kill them." We nodded, smiling as Namjoon gave us the plan.

"Jin, make an earthquake happen. It'll affect all of us so hold on. Jungkook, blast them with your fire, burn them alive. Jimin, assist Jin with natural disasters. And Taehyung?" I hummed, looking at Namjoon. "We know what you can do, but I have an even more important job for you."

"Keep these civilians alive." I nodded, taking his hand in mine again. "What do you want me to do?" He pointed to the buildings that had ice surrounding them. "When Jin and Jimin get the natural disasters going, these buildings will shake. Think you can prevent that? Hold them down so nothing comes crashing to the ground?"

I nodded again. "I'll assist you guys as well!" I shouted, wings sprouting as I flew into the air, looking at my friends. "Get ready!" They took their positions, my darkness magic seeping from me. Protect the civilians. Tendrils formed from my body and wrapped around building after building, holding them in place.

"We're ready!" They shouted, my smile returning as I nodded. I screamed, sending power over my ice and watching as I cracked open, the creatures able to move again. The ground rumbled and the winds picked up, my magic continuing to hold down the buildings and reach for more.

"Now, Elementals!"

Work is tough when it comes to defeating evil creatures from the underworld. These fights are soon to get tougher and deadlier, which only means more magic power will be needed.
