The Day
My eyes drifted and fluttered open. Everyone stood around my bed, tears pouring down their fragile faces. My love is waiting for me on the other side. I saw Angelica holding out her hand patiently with Peggy smiling knowing they will see me again. But I haven't done enough! No, no, no! Please! I need to make sure his story get's told!
Angelica smiled at me as if she were my guardian angel. She turned around her arms waving around her, gesturing to a unknown audience. But there was nobody. I frantically pulled at her light pink dress, begging her to take me back to the ground. Then she smiled mouthing, "You already are in the ground."
Angelica bowed down low, backing off with the same sweet, but in pain smile she had always been pulled. My chocolate hair flowed around me, but there was no wind. My eyes slowly pulled away from the small shadow bouncing of my dear sister. I saw everybody crouched over my lifeless body. I gasped.
I pulled out the person I didn't recognise, but my arm went through them. I pulled myself away. Then I saw Peggy, she gave me a small timid smile. I jumped over to her embracing her, tears blurring my sight. "Please take me back! I haven't told his story, yet!" I screamed, yet no words came out.
Peggy pressed her thin little finger to her lips. She led me towards people at the orphanage I established. "If only I met Alexander today, my life would be so much better." One said. I smiled, but that was one person.
Then Peggy suddenly disappeared, all I could do was watch her structure crumple into pieces floating away from me. I reached out to grab her hand, but then realised I was too late, but I was holding somebody else's hand. Philip. My Son! I mouthed. We were in a library. And he pointed his hand to one book. And it wrote Alexander's name on it. I pressed my hand towards my mouth, eyes wide. Then I suddenly felt warmth on my other hand pulling me closer. Nobody was there. I sighed.
Then I heard clapping, I slowly turned around. And there was shocking noise coming out of my mouth. The noise of pure joy and appreciation. There were people there smiling with tears in their eyes. And then I saw Alexander. I turned to run towards him, tears flying.
I saw the papers flying from all directions, with his handwriting. The curtain began to close. Tears drifting down the people's faces. And I by then, I knew somebody told his story.
So I edited this a bit, what do you guys think?
