" may all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around the highrock!" I heard Larkstar's voice call. I ran out of the apprentice den and was one of the first cats to be there. soon all the cats flooded out of their dens including Dovekit and my mum. Larkstar watched and then said " today we are is the day for two kits to become apprentices." Larkstar gestured for me and Dovekit to come up to the highrock. " Emberkit," she turned to me " until you earn your warrior name you will be known as Emberpaw," she turned to the crowd "Blazestreak you have deffeneded our territory with your knowledge of battle I bid you to pass this onto Emberpaw." I smiled i had heard about how skilled Blazestreak was in battle. Larkstar then turned to Dovekit " Dovekit, until you earn your warrior name you will be known as Dovepaw, your mentor will be Eagletalon i hoep you pass down all your knowledge to this young apprentice." everyone cheered " Eemberpaw Dovepaw Emberpaw Dovepaw!" Larkstar nodded " clan dismissed" everyone went to either their den or on a patrol. Blazestreak came to up to me " at sunhigh meet me at the entrance" he then walked off to be at the sunhigh patrol. I walked to the apprentice den and was greeted by Blackpaw "hi congratulations on becoming an apprentice." i smiled. i then thoguht " hey wanna have a mini battle claws sheathed?" he nodded.  i jumped on his back and batted at his ears he rolled over pushing me off. he then batted at me hind legs knocking me down i used my paws to pin his tail. he batted me away i dove under his belly pretending to rake his belly with my sheathed claws. he jumped on me and pinned me " for no battle training your pretty good." he said I smiled " I loved to listen to the elders tell me about their battles as warriors." he got off me and asked " friends?" I responded " sure."  he told me to just gather some moss and make a bed in the apprentice den. Dovepaw came into the den smiling as usual " dad said he was very proud and so did mum." I curled up in my nest and murmured "mhmm." i fell asleep tired from the days excitement.
