Ty's P.O.V

Today was the day.

We are going to sing at the contest. Winner gets 50 000 $ cash prize. But we entered for our love. I kissed Emma on the lips, as we walked backstage. I huffed nervously.

"We can do this." I sniffed. Emma giggled, and kissed my head.

"We'll win together." She reassured. I smiled. We watched the first duet sing. They were singing, Drink A Beer, by Luke Bryan. Oh no...That was REALLY good.

Emma's P.O.V

It was our turn to go on. I sighed nervously, as we stepped out onto the stage. I felt free, as I glanced at Ty. Oh no, he seemed terrified. I kissed his neck, as he smiled at me. The music in the back began to play, as I sang the first part.

"Heart beats fast

colors and promises

How to be brave

How can I love when I'm afraid to fall,

but watching you stand alone

all of my doubt

suddenly goes away

somehow." Then we sang the chorus together. It sounded beautiful.

"I have died, everyday, waiting for you

Darling don't be afraid

I'll love you for a thousand more."

We finished the song, as the audience clapped. We blushed, and he gave me an Eskimo kiss.

We walked back backstage, as he hugged.

"You were great! What do you mean you're bad?" Ty blushed, and whispered in my ear.

"I mean all the words we sung." I blushed madly, love and joy growing in my heart.

"Me too, baby. Come on, they're announcing the winner!"
