"Duncan you mother fucker!" Rythian turned to him, fury coursing through him.

Duncan looked taken aback. "Hey I was just m-messin'!" He muttered, putting his hands in front of him defensively.

"What's going on Dunc?" Kim limped into the doorway, flux covering the left side of her body and spreading.

"You should be resting! A-and, they're trespassing! H-hold on, there's that girl again! Theif!" He exclaimed, confidently.

Kim gasped.

"Oh shut up you fucking brute." Rythian spat.

Duncan shut his mouth, speechless.

"Both of you! Get out of this room it's covered in taint!" Kim stated in a motherly tone, mmediately ushering them away from the fluxed corner.

Rythian lifted his mask slightly to wipe his eyes. Astrid hugged his side as he put his hand on her head.

"Where's Zo-" Kim asked calmly.

"She ran away! Okay? I upset her! For some reason she ran here, we tried to catch up with her but when we got here we were too late!" He cut off quickly, exhausted and sobbing. Astrid held tighter.

"You don't mean..." She whispered, Kim looked at Duncan.

"It got to her?!" Duncan screeched, looking at Kim, mortified.

"We tried to get it off her but..." Astrid mumbled, sobbing into Rythian's armor.

"You portaled her away and now we don't know where she is and she's going suffocate from flux!" Rythian breathed heavily, his hands squeezed into fists.

SLAP!

"Duncan you imbecile! You've doomed her to," She signalled to her tainted body. "This! By herself!" Kim screeched, slapping Duncan and leaving a mark.
I was terrorfied seeing kim like before, now I've put Rythian through it. I wouldn't have wished that on my worst enemy, here it is. Duncan thought, staring at Kim weakly, frozen.

"Rythian, I'm so sorry. I know how you feel right now and-"

"No you don't! You could help her immediately! We even helped you! First you destroy our home, then you destroy your girlfriend's life, then you destroy this little girl's survival and now you destroy the one thing that I fucking cared about!" Rythian screamed, fixing his hands around Duncan's neck and slammimg him against the wall. He was  choking him.

"Rythian stop!" Kim shouted, drawing her ruby sword.

"Ry- thi- an, th-  Littl- Gir-" Duncan choked, pointing to where Astrid was standing. Tears painted her face as she stood limply, sobbing. She stared into Rythian's furious eyes, her's were filled with sorrow and pain. It stung him like a needle in his heart, he cared for this girl.

Immediately, he released his grip and knelt to Astrid, his eyes watering.

"It's okay Astrid! I've stopped, look! He's fine!" Rythian pleaded, faking a smile.

"Right Duncan?" He turned to him, giving him a threatening look.

"Yeah!" He breathed, slumping against the wall and rubbing his neck. Concerned, Kim  checked him for any bruising.

"Come on, let's go find Zoey, yeah!" Rythian cheered fakely as he stood to his feet, grasping her shaking hand. Duncan began walking out of the door but, Rythian placed his hand firmly on his left shoulder.

"Where do you think you're going?" He tightened his grip. "You're coming too. We helped you, you help us."

Duncan looked to Kim desperately from afar. She nodded at him. "I'll help to." Kim smiled.
Duncan's apprentice seems nice. Rythian thought, flashing a smile back.

"Now, Duncan. Where did you put your blue portal?"
