Chapter 23
Heading towards the vent, Ozone tried tugging it off. He used all of his might to pull on it. But it wouldn't budge. "Need any help Ozone?" Tiberius asked monotoned. "Not from you stupid bird!" Ozone hissed, tugging hard. Sighing, the old hawk laid down and watched the hairless cat struggle.
"This is gonna pop like a soda can any second now..." Ozone mumbled to himself, tightening his grip and pulling. "Doesn't look like it," Tiberius noted, his talons tapping, creating an echo inside the air vents.
"How bout you shut up and watch the master?" Ozone retorted. Tiberius stayed silent.
Three Minutes Later...
"Come on you! Open already!" Ozone shouted at the top of his lungs, tugging with the last bit of strength he had. His muscles strained and veins popped up on his forehead. But the vent still wouldn't budge, which infuriated Ozone even more. The hairless cat yowled in fury as he began shaking and pulling on the vent. Still, nothing happened. "It's no use, we're trapped in here forever..." Ozone grumbled, collapsing in defeat.
"Step aside cat," Tiberius piped up, getting to his feet and walking past Ozone. Laughing quietly as he lay on his stomach, Ozone looked over his shoulder and watched the old hawk. He sneered, "I couldn't open it, so what makes you think-"
Tiberius pushed on the vent, causing it to swing open. Ozone's jaw dropped. Huffing, the old hawk remarked, "And you called me stupid."
