Groaning, Ozone rubbed his forehead as he sat up from where he had landed on top of a trash can. He looked around the alley that he was in, turning his nose up at how much filth there was in it. Though he was a stray, Ozone at least knew what hygiene was. Suddenly, the hairless cat was yanked off the trash can and landed on the pavement.

"Anything else ya wanna tell me before I kill you?!" Tiberius screeched as he fought his way out of a pile of trash bags. Ozone, still dazed from their fall, didn't have time to react as something clamped down on his throat. Gasping for air, the hairless cat found himself looking right into the old hawk's light brown ones, which were flashing red. "Well?!" the hawk hissed, shaking Ozone while his feathers bristled.

Gulping, Ozone managed to spit out, "Okay, I'm afraid of heights, I have an obsession about tuna and I sometimes kidnap cats to see if they'll love me. Happy?!"

"You disgust me," Tiberius growled, dropping Ozone before walking away from the cat. But the foot long chain connecting them stopped him in his tracks.

Rubbing his sore head, Ozone muttered, "At least we're on the ground."

"It's much faster flying-"

"I'm afraid of heights!"

"Who's fault is that Ozone, cuz it ain't mine!"

"Oh let me guess, you're not afraid of anything!"

"The only thing we need to fear is fear itself-"

"Enough with the quotes!"

"It's true!"

"So, are you afraid of anything?"

"Like I'm gonna tell ya my greatest fear-"

"So you are scared of something!"

"Shut up!"

"Is it spiders?"

"No, of course not!"

"Well, what is-" Ozone found himself interrupted by distant gunshots. Ears pricked, he tried to pick up where the sound came from. But he couldn't hear anything over someone whimpering. Cross, he looked down to find Tiberius huddled on the ground shaking and eyes open wide with fear as he seemed to lose his mind. "Not scared of anything, huh?" Ozone sneered, amused.

Suddenly, Ozone was grabbed by the throat again as Tiberius regained his senses...
