"Okay, they should be in here, by the looks of things," Snowball murmured as the animals gathered around in front of a small room. The door was still locked shut. "This is the only way in or out, correct?" Duke asked. The rabbit nodded his head as he whipped out a carrot. Before he could gnaw it into a key though, Gidget suddenly kicked the door down. Everyone looked at her.

"Well, that's one way," Chloe mumbled, shutting Snowball's mouth for him.

"That's my girl," Max spoke softly, licking Gidget's cheek lovingly. Duke and Chloe made faces of disgust. Tattoo, meanwhile, entered the room.

"Well?" Duke asked, following Tattoo inside. The others followed the giant mutt inside to find a room devoid of life.

"They're ghosts..." Duke mumbled. Max rolled his eyes at his brother. Approaching the plate on the table, Chloe pointed out, "They weren't kidding when they said they couldn't find the key. The door was still locked and the cake was obviously eaten."

"How'd they get out? The only way is supposed to be the door..." Snowball muttered, observing the small room for any clues.

"Guys, I think I found out how!" Gidget called. Everyone looked over at the Pomeranian to find her standing in a corner beside an open air vent...
