It was the first day at the academy for us. Scarlett was determined, claria was excited, tycan was simply ready and I was that nervous that my skin went paler than usual, I was practically white.
"You nervous myth?" Cleric looks at me, in a mocking way.
"Shut up will you. Dont tease him" claria punches him in the arm. The four of us walk up to the main gates and cleric steps forward to open them. We enter through to the main grounds and all around I see everyone in different groups socialising, others practicing their chosen path, and the other first years in a group near the front door. After a while of silence between everyone, a large bell atop of the building starts ringing and everyone starts walking inside.
"Guess we should follow" scarlett says as she starts walking with everyone else and we follow. As the first years enter the building, they were all amazed and shoked to see that it was bigger on the inside. "Where the hell are we going" scarlett looks around then sees a tall woman in the distance calling for the first years. We get there in time to hear her speak.
"Welcome everybody" she starts, her voice is strong "I am the headmistress and I will be telling you about your choices of classes, and then arranging dormitories. If you haven't learnd or been told about the classes the you may choose whether you become an assassin, an archer, a warrior or a mage" every once in a while she looks at her watch, like waiting impatiently for something. Then out of nowhere, another woman, shorter than the headmistress run over to the group, then the headmistress continues.
"Ah, there you are. Everyone, this is carol, she is in charge of the choosing day and also our librarian. Now all of you who need more information, follow carol. Rest of you, stay with me"
A majority of the first years go with carol, but we and a few others stay. I look at them, other than me, cleric, claria and scarlett, there seems to be only five others who know enough about the academy. Then the headmistress continues again.
"Now with the number of you here, you will be put into two groups. You may choose who with, but whoever you choose is who you share a dorm with for the rest of the year"
Obviously I group up with cleric, claria and scarlett, and the other five group up. Then the headmistress leads us upstairs and down a few corridors. Then we stop at the end of a corridor with lots of doors on the walls with quite a bit of distance between each one. Im guessing these are the dorms
"Now then" she starts and points to us "you four will be I dorm A-9 just down the corridor, and you five will be in A-10"
We walk down the corridor until we reach the door marked A-10 and enter. Its quite big with six beds and a desk next to each one. I quickly push past the others and jump onto the bed at the far right corner
"First dibs" I smile
Because he us much bigger, cleric pushes two beds together to form a kinda double bed closer to the door. Scarlett takes the one next to me and claria next to scarlett. We have been given an hour or so to settle in so I lay in bed, take a book out of my bag and start reading
