Vivian's POV

It was a warm day in Southern California. I was playing tag in the front yard of my little house on the beachside with my little 4 year old sister, Neko. It was a normal day until a mysterious van pulled into the driveway. Me and my sister hid in a bush as a strange man walked into the house. We heard a sound similar to thunder and I grabbed my sister and we ran as fast and as far as our legs would take us. As I looked back the sky was clear which confused Neko. The man began running after us. Then there was a weird sound, and then... darkness. 

There was silence for a second and then I could here a car engine running. Then what felt like hours later the sound of a boat could be heard and ocean water could be scented. Then there was silence once more. A weird, unexplainable smell filled my nostrils and a thick liquid flooded my body. I couldn't breathe for a few seconds until I felt the liquid fade away. Then I felt a sharp pain in my arm as if  I had been stabbed. Then some of my skin didn't feel quite like skin. It felt like...fur? It was heavy and uncomfortable thanks to it being wet. I was then transferred to a glass tube where I eventually regained full consciousness and sight.
