Cameron's POV

I ran and ran and ran trough the forest with Moon at my heels. "Just over this hill!" I called, panting because of my loss of breath. When we ran over the hill what we saw was truly horrifying. A bloodbath of claws, wings, and teeth as our fellow friends are torn to shreds by vampires.  We ran down to help in any way we could. That's when I saw Jake.

Jake's POV

I saw Cam run to get help. I'm on my own for now. I thought. I saw Vivian walk in front of everyone else. She told us to stay put until she gave the signal. She walked up to the biggest Vampire.

"You will leave this place." She yelled, holding up her weapon.

"How do you plan to make us?" The Vampire asked in a million whispers.

"I will be forced to drive you out."

"You and what army?" He asked with a chuckle.

Vivian lifted her head and howled into the sky. That's the signal! We calmly walked out into the open so that the Vampires could see what they would be up against. Me, Blake, Lilly, and Gilly were in the front.

"The Escape Squad!" We yelled in unison.

"Well," A voice chuckled. "I am quite impressed with you Vivian." A man walked out from behind the Vampire. He was wearing a banana. "Quite impressed" He repeated. 

Bandit ran out in front of the crowd. "Dad Stop!"

"Oh, Kendra." He replied, his voice lacking both love and interest."

"It's Bandit."

"Ken-Bandit. Join me."

"WHAT!!!"

Bandit's POV

"Join me."

"WHAT!!!" 

"Yes, join me and it can all go back to the way it was."

"No dad, it can't! It CAN'T go back to the way it was! Mom is gone! Kate is gone! ... Kendra is gone!" I am NOT going to go back! I can't. They needed me. Especially now.

"Fine," He said, he didn't seem upset. "have it your way." He looked at the crowed of hybrids and amalgamations behind me. "Your friend, Bandit, has driven you all to a war you cannot win. I will give you all a chance to surrender. If you do I will take you back to the research lab,there you will be rehabilitated and taken care for, as well as experimented on once again."

I looked back to see hybrids. Strong and bold. None of them whispering. None of them walking. All of them ready to fight to the death to save themselves and their friends.

"Fine, Vampires!" He looked back to the Vampires that were behind him. They where ready to tear apart every single one of us. He lifted his and into the air. He closed his lifted hand into a tight fist. "ATTACK!!!"

Vivian's POV

"ATTACK!!!" A flurry of red and black swarmed toward us at high speed.

I watched. I was waiting for the right moment. ... NOW! "NOW!!!" I yelled. Bandit and Gilly made a huge wall of water. It didn't stop them. The Vampires began to swim through it. "Oh don't seem so shocked."  I smarkily said as Lilly shot a wave of electricity through the water. Electrifying them instantly. After a while I guess they got used to it because they kept going! "Now freeze." I demanded as Jake froze them to the spot.

"Second wave. GO!" Frank demand as a second flurry of Vampires came our way.

I looked at them as a muttered curses under my breath. I had a plan for this...but Cameron isn't back yet! Crap! Plan B.

"ATTACK!!!" I yelled as I leaped at the first Vampire I saw.

Cameron's POV

"Moon, find a rock."

"okay? Like...this one?" I turned around and saw Moon holding a humongous boulder.

"Uh, yeah that will work."I picked up the biggest rock that I could carry. "let's go!"

"What do I do?"

"You take to the sky!!" I said as I spread my wings. "And then you drop it!" I then dropped my rock on a big vampire that was trying to kill Jake. Take That!!!

Vivian's POV

I was battling my heart out what I saw Cameron commence Plan A. About time!! I began to run through the hell-hole that was this battle. And by the looks of it...we were loosing. Badly. I saw Frank. Take him out, take the whole army out. I thought. I sprang at him and sliced his arm. He jumped and pulled out a needle. I guessed he was going to try to stab me with it so I was able to dodge his next attack. I then pounced behind him and put my blade to his throat. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a bomb. 

"Well, well, little kitten." He said. "Looks like we have both reached the end. For you see, this bomb is no ordinary bomb."

"Um," I interrupted, "nothing about this day is ordinary."

He ignored my comment and continued. "This bomb has enough power to destroy this entire forest. Taking all of up with it!"

I looked around, the fighting stopped. The bomb began to beep. everyone was looking at us the vampires tried to fly away. The others were looking at be with true horror on their faces. I looked back and noticed we were on a cliff. There was a raging river at the bottom of it. It would kill me in an instant. It would kill Frank too. I knew what I had to do. 

I looked at Jake. He knew what I was going to do. he had tears streaming down his face. 

"D-don't do this." He said desperately.

"Lead them well." Was all I replied.

The beeping of the bomb got faster. I grabbed Frank and the bomb and jumped.

It was all so slow. 

I didn't hear anything.

I didn't smell anything.

I didn't feel anything.

I just saw...

the bomb...

him...

the water...

Jake...

...

the sky...

so pretty...

so clear...

so bright...

I saw...

...
