Chapter 2: Consequence
Jimin's perspective:
After her tantalizing inferring, I heaved a sigh of relief, somehow it decelerated my heartbeats. Childhood friend? Did I have one?
"his name." I whispered, which must have caught Alison's courtesy as she replied.
"Taehyung. The name is Kim Taehyung." She rejoiced with a minor smile wrenching on her lips.
Kim Taehyung.
Kim Taehyung.
Kim Taehyung?
To my disenchantment, it gave me nonentity, not even a trivial section of retentions, of us together. It distraught me a little, although I know naught of this purported 'friend'.
"don't think too hard, Jimin..." was a remark from Alison before she left the chamber to procure banquet.
The sunlight seeped through the miniscule breach between the curtains. I reached for it, to seek some warmth as a recurrence swung by.
"Tae, you're my sunshine!" I announced proudly, positioning my palm on 'Tae's' hand.
"Then, Chim, you're my moonlight!" 'Tae' responded, with an acquainted boxy grin as he lifted my adjoined hands.
We sniggered at each other's proclamation.
It appeared as if we were about five years old throughout that zoomed moment. A smile pursued its way to my lips.
Tae?
Now, that's better.
"what are you smiling at, Jimin?" questioned my caretaker.
"Nothing." I answered, the smile endured. "just a segment of my memories?"
Her nurturing smile returned, "I'm glad."
"me too?" I spoked.
"you should be. I mean Taehyung would love to see your eye smile again." She mumbled, and for an instant, I saw tears forming in her orbs.
I tilted my head, "Alison, you okay?"
"yeah. Just... just a bit buoyed." She reassured, "no worries."
I nodded, permitting her to some personal space.
"ah, your breakfast, I'll fetch it right away." She rushed her sentence before vanishing downhills.

The morning coasted away in an interval, welcoming the flourishing afternoon. 'Enclosure' would be the flawless term to define my regular routine. 'Residing in bed and resting is the 'evident solution for amnesia' was the disreputable citation of my mother. Countless, including my physician 'agreed' with her 'solution' after the 'altruism' offered to them from my mother.
I on no occasion regarded about emancipation as much, but after discerning some of my reminiscences, I wanted an alteration. Even if it's a negligible one. I sought to go out and breath in the invigorating air. I yearned to scream out my stuffed chest. I desired to run around in the fields and dance, wherever, just not indoors.
After a few fortified self-encouragements, I exhaled an entreaty to Alison, to which she surprisingly capitulated effortlessly.
~
So, here I mounted, merely a footstep away from mother nature. One step and then I will be liberated. From this cell for a minute, from being an inmate to this parapet. I smiled as I paced, my first step outdoors, for a while. The grass pirouetted with the airstream as it beautified my feet, tickling it to some extent. I breathed in the oxygen, as my smile only cultivated. I enclosed my eyes as I spun around on the green land, pivoting on the spot, voyaging a tad further into the sunbeam. Till a remembrance speeded by.
"Jiminie! Let's see who can spin around for the longest!" Tae challenged.
I delightedly accepted the trial, "sure, I bet you, that you'll lose!"
"we'll see, chiminie!" He teased.
"yeah, we'll see, tea!" I mocked back.
We ended up having a draw, however we relished the result.
My eyes rebounded open to meet with blue orbs that seemed to be concerned.
"Jimin, are you alright? You fainted!" Alison fired queries at me, to which I refuted.
"Alison, I'm alright, it was just a flashback." I comforted the anxious lady.
She nodded at last.
