Chapter 8: Mediocrity

Dream. Dream. Dream.

Why can't a dream be communicative?

I reached for the brunet, but sedateness seemed to despise me as it only hauled me downwards, barricading my solitary route to him.

Is it wrong to desire for an elapsed dream?

Is it wrong to want to see the brunette via a parochial dream?

"Jimin," the sounding of Alison's voice directed me back to earth.

I beheld her, a concerned expression lingered on her façade. "you need to eat something, Jimin ah."

I nodded, my orbs dehydrated from the previous wailing session. Abstractedly, I devoured the insipid porridge from the hospice.

Is it wrong to covet to hear a hallucinated voice?

Is it wrong to aspire to remain in a dream forever?

Is it wrong to miss an imagined being?

Is it-

"Jimin." Alison aroused me once again. "you're spilling the oatmeal."

I stared down to see a gruel-drenched infirmary uniform.

"Jimin"

My eyes irrigated at the conversant tone.

"how-"

Halted. The remembrance was stopped by a grotesque headache. A shriek escaped my lips, without my consent, propelling the hospital mayhem. I heaved on my hair, tears leaked from my eyes, lips dry from the outburst.

"Jimin! Calm down! Calm!" Alison rushed before me, supporting me with her palms.

My screeching continued, uncontainable.

My eyes pleaded to be closed, but just before it does, I perceived a personage in white, approaching me, the source of the distress.

I unlocked my eyes, everything around me was protected in white.

Treacherously alike the description of heaven.

My name was baptized, although the reciter was indistinguishable in the distance, I could tell, it was him: the cause of all my bedlam.

His prognosis was dissimilar, it was muffled, as if he was congested by someone.

Then the addressing stonewashed, so did my smile.

"Tae?" I exclaimed, fretful that I might never catch his soothing pitch no more.

"Tae?" I repeated, the tremor in me increased.

"Tae?!"

"are you here?!"

"please..." I whimpered, barely holding in the forming waterworks. "...Tae...."

"...please help me. I'm suffering...."

"I need you...."

"please..."

"...I...I... I"

"...I... love... you...."

"as... a whole...."

My eyes ripped agape, meeting Alison's tear-stained mien. I examined the adjacent, hoping for a glimpse of the brunet.

No.

He isn't here.

Why?

"Jimin... save me...."

My sobbing made its accustomed way downhill.

a/n: hello! I'm not dead! Yeah! After a long time of not updating on this story... hahaha.

I missed this plot so much, but I think I ruined it. TT
