Ding Dong !

I rang the bell to Esse's house, hoping she wouldn't be the person to open the door for me. In few seconds, Ethan opened the door for me. Immediately he saw it was me, his smile changed to frown. "What are you doing here?" he asked sternly and completely furious.

Wow. Seems like everyone is mad at me. I'm such a fool, such a moron. "Err...i-i was-was em-em-was invi..."

"I invited him," Ebun saved my life, making Ethan and me gaze shift to her. "I know you're angry with him, but please let him set things right."

Ethan wasn't frowning anymore, but he still wasn't smiling. "Set what right? I see nothing to set right, the only thing he had to set right, has been set right by him already." His turned to look at me. "And now that you've proven yourself, it's best you go back home. You honestly don't want to see the other side of me. I promise you, you won't forget it in a haste." His frown was back.

I became speechless. I want to explain to him how sorry I am, how I feel like a big idiot and most importantly, how much I love Esse.

Ebun, who looked like she was slightly drunk, walked up to Ethan. She placed her right hand on his left shoulder as she walked to his front, placing her left hand on the other shoulder. "Come-on Ethan, he's harmless. I know everything behind his story, we've only seen the surface. Collins told me everything, and I think he deserves a second chance, please let him in," she begged on my behalf.

I wasn't shocked at her story, I knew Collins would have told her, they were close and we're in the same class. After the incident, we all decided to tell our besties that didn't know about our secret. But, mine...mine is gone. I didn't want to think about it too much, so I shook my head, and brought myself back to the scene. To my surprise, Ebun and Ethan were in a lip lock. Esse better not finds out about this. I also took it as a yes, and walked into the house. When I walked in, Falz's La Fete was playing. I love that song.

I started searching for Esse immediately I entered, and in no time at all I found her. But I didn't like what I saw. She was with Rukky, boisterously laughing. I quickly started making my way to her. But before I could reach her, Ella walked up to her, whisper something to her and pulled her away. She looked around the room as she was been pulled away. Immediately her eyes landed on me, it widened and narrowed, almost immediately. Her teeth were clenched as she finally exited the room.

I've messed up.
