I looked at the pink plus sign on the now useless piece of plastic, panic surging through my veins.

My life was ruined. No, I was ruined.

One mistake. It was one time! I was stupid....so fucking stupid.

I looked in the mirror of my bathroom, my eyes a mess. I had mascara running down my cheeks, like I was living in an endless soap opera. I looked long enough in to the mirror to see the realization dawn. Carter. What the hell was I going to tell Carter!? 

Black spots began to cloud my vision, and it wasn't long before the blackness overwhelmed me. Peace. I began falling in my darkness, until I remembered that I had just passed out. The sinking feeling I was experiencing was dread. My Mom would be home any minute....
