Tom chucked his bag at his bedroom wall and fell backwards onto his bed, absolutely exhausted. He closed his eyes, content to just spend the rest of the day snoozing. Eventually, he fell asleep.

He woke up to a strange whizzing sound just above his head.

Opening his eyes, Tom glanced around the room to see a potato zooming around its perimeters. Thinking that he must be dreaming, Tom just stared at it in mild amusement.

Until the potato started shooting lasers at all his stuff, effectively exterminating and destroying everything in his room.

Tom yelped and bolted out of the room, down the stairs and into the kitchen, where his mother was making dinner.

"Mother, I need your help!"

Tom's mother didn't respond, so Tom only proceeded to yell even louder.

"THERE IS A POTATO FLYING AROUND MY ROOM AND SHOOTING ALL MY STUFF!!!"

Tom's mother finally turned around to face him. Tom stepped back in horror.

His mother was holding the saucepan out to Tom. And it was a whole load of mashed potato.

"Would you like some mashed potatoes, Tom?" his mother said sweetly.

Tom screamed.
