"Diamond, you have been found guilty of first-degree murder. You have been sentenced to death." VC said. DC giggled and opened the gates. Diamond tried to run, but the claw was too fast, grabbing her ankle and dragging her away. I could hear the echoing screams all the way up until I waled into the spectator's booth. Diamond was covered in a metallic blue paint and tied to a diamond ore block along with two other blocks, all in a neat little row. The execution's name plays above Diamond.

What a Find!

Out of the dark, an iron pickaxe swung out and hit the first block. Diamond screamed and struggled against her bindings. The pick swung down again, breaking the first block. A diamond fell out and was whisked away. The pick slid over to the second block. Hammering down on it, the ore breaks easily enough. Now, it was Diamond's turn. The pick swung down once more. I cringed and looked away. Diamond screamed.

Then, the pick hit just above Diamond's head. She sighs in relief and drops down after the block breaks. She cheers and turns back to the booth. "You failed, DC! This is where it ends! Stop your ruthless killing and just let us all g-"

Diamond never finishes her sentence.

A mechanical hand appears where the pick was and grabs her. She screams and gasps as the life is literally squeezed out of her. The metal bars forming the fingers push in tighter and tighter, ripping tissue and crushing bone. Diamond coughs up blood, wheezing as her body desperately tries to pull in whatever air it could. Sadly, it wasn't enough. Her eyes were red with blood as her head slumped to the side.

The diamond will no longer shine.

Anyways, that is the third(?) to last chapter, only one execution left before I die in a most spectacular fashion (although its less of an execution and more suicide, but SPOILERSSSS) so get hyped
