Told you guys that this was already written and that votes didn't matter, but I guess that means that some of you didn't read the A/N like I asked

First half of the double update

"Glitch, you have been found guilty of hacking into private property and second-degree murder. Your sentence-death."

"THIS ISN'T FAIR! I'VE DONE NOTHING WRONG!" Glitch shouted. She gets pulled away and we walk back to the spectator booth. It seems so normal, just another part of the day. Is that bad? I mean, death shouldn't be ordinary, but this...this all feels just right.

Glitch was standing on a square black platform surrounded by rings of green zeros and ones, almost like computer code. The execution's name plays above her head.

Virus Protection Program

Each of the numbers around Glitch turned red while an electronic voice stated that a virus had been found. Glitch tensed up, searching for a way out. She was trapped in an endless ring of numbers. When she reached out her hand to pass through, a surge of electricity sent her back. Then, the waves began.

One by one, what looked to be arrows shot out of the swirling walls, almost appearing from thin air. Glitch swerved back and forth, dodging each one. However, one managed to hit her arm. Glitch looked at it and puked. It wasn't an arrow, but a long six-inch needle with a small box of poison on the end. She screamed and tried to pull out the needle to no avail. More shot out, and another hit her knee. She screamed again, furiously trying to pull out both needles. I could almost see the poison coursing through her veins.

Glitch stands and looks around. After she's satisfied, she grips the box on the needle, pulls a little, and then rips the needle out with most of the skin around the wound. Blood gushes onto the floor. Green fluid pours from the needle. Glitch puked a little. More of the needles shoot out, and Glitch dodges but she is visibly slower. Another needle gets her in her right calf. She screams again and falls to the ground.

After what feels like hours of dodging and torture, a red alarm fires off. Glitch looks up in shock at the loud noise. A small text box appears.

VIRUS ELIMINATED

Glitch looks at this in confusion. At that moment, a rush of electricity fills the room where she stands. The needles send the bolts flying straight into Glitch. She falls to the ground, her corpse still twitching from the electricity.
