-GuessWho-
"Guess, you are the last person sentenced to death." VC whispered. Corrupted by the darkness of her devilish counterpart, I could tell that there wasn't a cookie queen anymore, just an empty shell of what she had been. Guess screamed and cried of her innocence, trying to run before DC grabbed her.
"Ah, someone's a little scared. Don't worry, it will only hurt a lot." DC said. Guess screamed again as she was pulled away like the rest of the poor souls trapped in that room. I was the only one who walked into the familiar booth. I knew I wasn't alone, as the spirits of those who died here filled the space with the dark chill of death. I looked down at Guess, who was now on a white platform surrounded by white and gold pillars, each with a different item on top. The execution's name played above her.
Divine Intervention
Guess stood in the center of a replica of Mount Olympus, surrounded by 12 pillars. Each pillar had a carved symbol representing the 12 major Greek gods. Guess herself was dressed in a white toga tied around her neck, as if she was pulled straight out of a Greek story. She held a bronze sword as her only defense against the horrors of these dark walls. The scene would have seemed peaceful if I didn't know what would happen next.
One by one, the signs glowed with a golden light. Storm clouds gathered above Guess, turning the peaceful scene into a hellish nightmare. Then, the sign for Zeus turned dark red just as the first strike of lightning came down. Guess screamed and fell to the side, just missing the bolt as it made contact with the ground. The symbol for Demeter glows red next as plants grab Guess's ankles and dragging her back towards the storm. She grabs at the ground, but there is nothing to grip onto. The plants pull tightly at her legs, their thorns digging into her ankles. The next symbol to turn red is for Poseidon, adding rain to the mix of godly gifts from hell.
Another bolt of lightning struck down, aimed right for Guess. She screamed in fear, but the bolt missed her by a few feet. She sighs in relief as she pulls off the plants pulling her to the ground. She stands up against the rain, watching for more lightning. She didn't see the next symbol, for Hades. The ground crumbled under her feet, revealing large spikes. Guess stared in horror as she tried to run from the crumbling ground, only to trip and fall towards the spikes. All I heard was a deathly ripping sound as the spikes impaled her, slowly but surely. Fire spilled up from the hole. The hill was covered in seconds, but the fire continued to spread, burning down the pillars before starting up the walls. I backed up a little from the glass, only to find someone behind me. DC leaned over my shoulder, grinning in satisfaction.
"What is happening? Why is the fire spreading when Guess is already dead?" I ask. She giggles, which turns into a gruesome laugh that made me scared for my life.
Finally, DC looked at me, her crimson eyes studying my blue ones.
"Oh Storm, this is the end. We all get to burn together."
