The Inner Sinner
Although Marcello had killed the beast, he didn't have the appetite to eat it thus he kept the corpse of the decaying beast beside the forest, far enough from his hut. When he entered the hut, his squashed berry was spattered on the floor. Taking a clear sheet of paper,he used his ink bottle and feather to make the following list:
Colours needed:
Pink-Raspberry
Red-
Blue-
Dark Blue-
Yellow-
Black-
Orange -
Purple-
Brown-
Green-
Light Green-
Just thinking how many more colours he had to search for left him sighing. He left the paper ams ink bottle on top of it and went outside in search of colours to brighten up his world.

Marcello had squashed numerous leaves but all in vain as either white goo or transparent sap was all that came out. He had taken a big leaf and squashed many raspberries, leaving them inside the hut when he was finished.
While returning to his hut as dusk approached, the boar caught his eyes for the thirteenth time. Somewhere between guilt and sadness, a tiny speck of excitement dwelled. He didn't know why or how he thought of it but he just couldn't come up with an explanation for the dreadful thought in his mind.
The blood of the dead boar's corpse seemed intriguing. As if it was a charm, it attracted Marcello. The bright red colour would look amazing on his canvas. He couldn't think of why he thought of such an unexplainable gruesome idea but his thoughts were starting to scare him. He dismissed Thai nagging voice at the back of his mind suggesting this and continued on his way to the hut.
Later that night, he squashed each of the berry he had picked whole his time in the forest and squashed them. Most came out transparent or pinkish this they were of no use to him. Eventually he came across a few berries from which came out the color blue. Ofcourse he had totally forgotten about the blueberries. As a sample he kept it and threw away the useless wasted fruits.
He updated the list adding 'Blueberries' in the color section "Blue" and yawning went to bed, his mind still stuck on the idea that his heart denied.

Marcello woke up at the middle of the night, sweating heavily. As if he was trapped in a hypnotic trance, he got out of bed and walked out of the hut into the stormy night, grabbing a plastic bottle on his way out.
The sea was raging, it's high tides coming and crashing closer to the coast. The foam reached upto almost the hut. It was difficult to see as the whole world was engulfed in a blanket of darkness, only shades of black and grey reigning the night. He walks on,debating with himself, fighting inside his head, as he ripped the skin of the boar from its wound. Blood gushed out;he uncapped the bottle and let the blood drip inside it. As half of it was full, he put the cap on and left the boar alone to slowly bleed out.
He couldn't control it. He knew that it wasn't right, that this is not who he was but he couldn't suppress, much less defeat the urge. As he entered the tent and looked outside for one last time,he could swear he saw a figure; a human figure.
In was a woman, draped in a black robe. She was walking ever so slowly and after a while when Marcello blinked, she was gone,as if she had dissolved into the mist.
Marcello kept the bottle and laid down on the bed, knowing that this island was slowly changing him.
