I felt so heartbroken,

Like my heart just flung on the ground,

I felt very crestfallen,

With what had my heart just found.

I came out of my hiding,

" You....you....cheat" I stammered,

I couldn't think of any words,

Because my heart had been hampered.

" Mi...Mily" he stammered back,

" I am sorry about all this shit

But you are just not perfect for me

U are lame...just a bit."

" U have azure eyes, but I like blue ones,

And I prefer wavy hair over straight ,

And I would like the girl to be something special,

The girl who I shall choose to date."

Then my mouth started speaking on its own,

The feelings of my heart,

Because his words had pierced through me, 

In my heart like  poisonous darts.

" You think you are flawless,

Let me tell you your greatest flaw,

Its bigger than being ugly,

Even bigger than breaking a law.

You will never know what love is,

Maybe you never did,

Breaking hearts is murdering a thousand times, 

Never knew the monster which in you hid.

You will stay away from me now,

Pretend we were never friends,

You continue living in your world of darkness,

Coated with girls and trends."

My mouth shut up, but heart was still brawling,

My tears were hid by the rain drops,

Which silently fell on my face,

But made more clear the words of my inner talks.

I walked away from that monster,

Determined not to turn back again,

A little hoping maybe he would come behind, which he never did,

With my heart filled with anguish and pain.

Today we go to the same school,

Act as total strangers,

He is still the most popular kid,

And I am one of the geek girls.

But all I know is I am not a monster,

The thought gives me satisfaction,

Though my heart still shadowed with the tears of my past,

But it rises up to see life as a new passion.

All I have learnt is that expectations,

Bring agony and fear and hatred,

And at the very end nothing can be done,

There is nothing more that can be said.
