Basorexia
the overwhelming desire to kiss

"I can't believe she's bringing your Mom," Willow said again as she paced the living room.

"It's gonna be fine?" I bit my lip as I tried to figure out how this was gonna go. "She's gonna have to get a hotel because we don't have room here, so I won't have to see her every day."

"You can always hide at my place." Gabe offered as he made lunch for us. "Mom loves you."

"Thanks, Gabe." I stretched my arms above my head then curled up in the recliner. "God, it's hot in here."

"Sorry, need me to leave?" Willow mumbled as she continued her pacing. "Do you think Dads would stop Ariel from bringing her?"

"I don't know?" I picked the remote up and turned the TV on to find something to watch. "Dad has moved on from her, obviously."

"No, he's marrying Eric because he is still in love with that bitch," Gabe replied, which was followed by Willow mocking him.

"Wanna watch Easy A?" I asked them when I saw it was going to start in ten minutes. "It'll be on in a few."

"Sure." Willow laid out on the sofa. "You good with that, Gabe?"

"Yeah, it's a funny movie." I clicked on the channel and tossed the remote back onto the coffee table.

"What are you making?" Willow asked him as Easy A started.

"Pizza." He answered.

"But it's so hot out," I complained as I pulled my top off and chilled in my shorts and bra.

"Did you seriously take your shirt off?" Gabe was laughing his ass off.

"Why?" I rolled my eyes. "Are my shoulders distracting you?"

"How did you know about my shoulder fetish?" He smiled at me before going back to spreading the cheese.

"Shut up." Willow threw my tank top at him, but it lands on the love seat on my right.

"And that's how she got a full scholarship for softball." I staged-whispered to Gabe. "Amazing arm."

"I'll feed you to the gulf." Willow started laughing. "Hurry up, Gabe! You're missing the movie!"

"I can hear and see the movie."

*****

"Busy?" Willow knocked on the archway behind me.

"One sec." I didn't take my eyes off the computer as I finished up my editing. "I just need to finish this and upload."

"Okay." I head her walk over to me. "Finally uploading this?"

"Just filmed it on what, Thursday?" I asked her. "So it's only been forty-eight hours give or take."

"I'm teasing you." She picked up the book that was resting on top of my TBR pile. "Haven't you been reading this for like three weeks now?"

"I'm about to DNF it." I sighed. "I can't focus on reading anything right now."

"That sucks." Willow set the book back down and leaned against the desk. "Wanna go out and do something after you upload?"

"Like what?" I uploaded the video and leaned back in my seat.

"Well, Rob sent me a text asking if we wanna go to the diner and hang out." She winked at me. "You can say I'm sick."

"I'm planning on telling Rob I have a crush on him." I rolled my eyes. "But, I'm not doing it in a booth at Judy's."

"Why? Do you plan on it being this huge romantic thing or something?" She sat on the edge of the desk and played the little Alice Tsum Tsum that was by her.

"No." I shook my head. "Romance leads to relationships, and I have zero desire to be in a long-distance relationship."

"If you don't want to be in a relationship with Rob, then why say anything about your crush?" She poked me with Alice.

"Because I don't wanna spend my life wondering what his reaction would've been." I stood up and pulled my hair tie off my wrist. "When is Rob expecting us or whatever?"

"He's on his way here since we live just two blocks from Judy's." Willow tossed Alice back on the desk and walked over to the messy pile of shoes. "Can I borrow your flats?"

"Be more specific because we both own like three pairs," I replied to a few comments on the video before closing the window; I grabbed my phone and wallet from my nightstand before going over to her. "All the non-neutral colored ones are yours."

"Downside to having the same shoe size." She slid on a pair of maroon flats. "Can't remember what belongs to who."

"And it doesn't help that we like the same kind of shoes." I slid on my flip flops from yesterday.

"Oh, well." Willow went back to her room to grab her bag while I walked out to the living room. "It's only gonna matter when we move out."

"Yeah, but that's a long while from now since the Dads are okay with us staying home." I waited by the door for her.

"If Aurora calls while we're out, I'm ditching you," Willow told me when we left the house to wait for Rob on the sidewalk.

"If Aurora calls, we're both ditching Rob." I yawned out of boredom.

"Hey, guys." Rob jogged towards us.

"Hey, Rob." I smiled brightly at my crush.

"What up, Robert?" Willow waved, and we all started walking towards Judy's over on Madison.

"Nothing much." He shrugged a shoulder. "Gabe and I were talking about going surfing later this week."

"Awesome." Willow started bouncing as she walked. "Can I join, or is this strictly a bro thing?"

"You can join." Rob shook his head with a laugh.

"Just don't kick their asses." I hip bumped her. "Also, if Aurora calls, we're ditching your ass to talk to her."

"Glad to know you care so much about me." He wrapped an arm around my shoulders and sent butterflies to my stomach.

*****

"What's up, Soap?" Cam greeted me when he opened the door.

"Seriously, Cam?" I rolled my eyes. "I thought you stopped."

"Old habits die hard." He moved to the side and let me in. "Why are you here?"

"Because Gabe and I are doing a movie marathon." I opened my bag and pulled out the three movies I brought.

"You're making him watch Pride and Prejudice?" Cam took the movie out of my hands as I walked inside.

"He's making me watch It." I closed the door and tried to get my movie back.

"Nope." He held it up, totally out of reach. I just rolled my eyes and jabbed his side with my fingers. "Ow!"

"Old habits die hard," I told him as I took the movie back and walked to Gabe's room. "Your brother is still an ass."

"Are you shocked?" He didn't look at me as he made room for me on his bed and balanced his laptop on his lap.

"Nah, I just wanted to let you know." I handed him my movies after I closed his door; he just sat them on his stack of movies on the nightstand. "Which one are we starting with?"

"It." He grinned at me.

"I hate you." I toed my shoes off and took my jacket off. "You're a bigger ass than Cam."

"I think we have the same size ass." Gabe pulled me closer and hit play when the menu came up.

"That's not what I meant." I leaned against him and had my back pressed against his chest. "Why do we have to watch horror movies?"

"Because Horror is the best genre," Gabe whispered.

"Not for books." I smiled in the darkroom. "Horror books suck."

"You've never read Horror." Gabe poked my stomach when I started laughing.

"Because Horror books are boring." I tilted my head back to look at him. "And Horror movies are either boring or creepy as fuck."

We watch the movie until the scene with the one guy in the bathtub with his wrists stilted comes up.

"I hate that part." I buried my face in Gabe's neck.

I've seen It dozens of times, but that part always freaks me out; that and about the entire movie.

"Is that why you always seemed to have a boyfriend when we would go see horror movies?" Gabe asked. "So, you can hide your face during scary parts."

"Mostly, but most of them would ask if I would rather make out," I mumbled.

"That would be more distracting than hiding your face." I felt him shrug and pull me away from his neck. "It's over."

"I have a feeling it's gonna be creepier than usual," I told him.

"Why's that?" He looked down at me right as I shrugged.

"Because I tend to get scared easier when I'm really stressed." I rest my head against his shoulder.

"Well, if you wanna try the making out theory." I started laughing. "Let me know."

"Do you use that line on all the girls?" I covered my mouth to stifle my laughter.

"Just the ones who get scared easily." He kissed my temple and started the movie again. I didn't realize he stopped it.

I couldn't focus on the movie because I was too busy thinking about what it would be like to kiss Gabriel Howard. I don't know why I'm thinking about this since I've never thought about it before.

Another creepy scene came up, so I took Gabe up on his offer and kissed him.

He hesitated for just a moment, but it was long enough for me to pull back and look at him.

"Not okay with this?" I asked him, worrying he had only been joking.

"I'm okay with it." He brushed a few strands of hair out of my face.

"Okay," I whispered as he leaned forward and captured my lips with his.

Girls at school were always saying Gabe was a good kisser, but they were wrong; he's terrific.

My fingers slid up his chest and neck only to tangle themselves in his damp hair while his hands snaked around my back and pulled me onto his lap.

I tossed my hair over my shoulder as I straddled him and trailed kisses down his jaw, and he pressed his lips along my neck.

Never would've thought in a million years I would be kissing one of my best friends and enjoying every second of it.

"Did you just try to take my bra off?" I pulled back just enough to look at his blush covered face.

"Badly." He laughed.

"Boys." I rolled my eyes as I reached back and undid the clasps before dragging the straps down my arms.

"How?" Gabe questioned as I reached down my shirt and pulled my bra out.

"Practice." I winked and tossed the garment somewhere behind me.

He shook his head and reached behind me to move the laptop; the movie got forgotten while he did that I crossed my arms over my torso and pulled my shirt off.

"Whoa." His eyes got comically huge when he saw me shirtless.

"Hmm." I hummed as I tugged on his shirt. "Unless your uncom-"

"I'm good." He pulled his shirt off and started kissing across my collarbone.

"Better not give me any hickies." I murmured breathlessly. "I'm all out of crew shirts for work."

"Wasn't planning on giving you love bites where others can see." He said against my skin.

"You're supposed to be the innocent Howard boy." I threw my head back as I laughed.

"Only innocent because I haven't had sex, Sophia." He pressed a kiss below my ear.

I bit my lip as I trailed my hands down his chest. "Oh?"

"Are you uncomfortable?" He laid his forehead on my shoulder and traced invisible patterns along my spin.

"Only if you don't have a condom in your nightstand." I shrugged and ran my fingers up his chest and through his hair.

"I, uh, have a box of them." He let out an embarrassed laugh.

"Graduation present from Cam?" I asked and felt him nodded. "Guess we should thank him tomorrow?"

"Only if you wanna get taunted for the rest of your days." Gabe kissed me before opening the drawer in his nightstand.

"Good point." I agreed with him and rolled off him so that I could take my shorts off.

"So I don't know how sizing works," Gabe said as he handed me the condom. "But that should be fine, right?"

"Yeah." I looked over the condom. "It has nothing to with the length of your little friend, but with how it's supposed to grip."

"Dado, tell you that?" Gabe asked me as he undid his pants.

"I didn't fell asleep in class like you did, honey." I teased him before giving back the condom.

"Thank goodness." He ripped the condom open with his teeth. "Or we would've been panicking in the morning."

ChasingMadness24, my horny teenagers remembered to use a condom ;)

So this is as graphic as the actual sex stuff is gonna get, but it shouldn't be in the book a lot. The sexual content/language warning is more for when they talk about sex and sex stuff rather than sex itself.

Use a condom, get consent, maintain consent. Stay safe, people.
