I woke up suddenly. Whipping my droll off my face before sitting up in the cell. Couldn't they honestly give me a confortable bed or at least a pillow. My hands and feet hurt from the chains.

I sighed. At least it wasn't freezing like it use to.  When I was captured as a kid I was solely glad they kept me alive, though now I know they were slowly killing me. Hurting me until my body transformed. Just to test how long it would take for the first transformation in the Ninetails.

They would then just leave me tied up before shocking me until I passed out, then wrote my results.

I closed my eyes. Trying to not forget that, if I tried something I probably wouldn't be able to go back on the killed streak.

"Good morning." I opened my eyes to the girl I've been seeing almost everyday.

"Hey, if it isn't my favorite person." I stood up before going to the cell clear wall. I could smell her before she even came. Always with that shampoo smell.

"How did you sleep?" Before I answered she knew that she shouldn't have asked that to me because I slept in a cell.

I pulled my hair back. I had burned some of the cell to color my hair. So if I escaped they wouldn't know it was me. I kept my whiskers sharp as well as my eyes red to make my self more like a demon.

"So what do you want?" I asked. She then pulled up a bag.

"I..have something I want to test out." She said quietly.

"What you have something to!" I yelled with a grin.

She put her finger to her lips as a shush.

"It something I want to know, I'm doing it without authority." She said. I lifted a brow. But then frowned before turning my back.

"If you don't need to do it then I don't want to." I said.

"But, please! I need to know something." She said. I turned to her. She looked serious. I sighed.

"Fine." I said. She opened the cell. If I was a bad guy I could've knocked her out, but I'm kinda curious.

She didn't know what to do next so I grabbed my own leash before attaching it to my shocker on my neck. I then handed her the end.

She blushed embarrassed. Before grabbing it. She honestly was new at this kind of thing. It was actually kinda cute.

She walked me to a different room. But told the men she had authority and they carelessly believed her.

When we entered the room it was much nicer then the one I was in, the walls were knew and it didn't have any cameras. I honestly couldn't believe the situation this was. When she closed the door she turned to me.

"So what's up?" I asked coldly. She started opening her bag then pulled out something wrapped . The smell entered my nose immediately. I felt my stomach growl.

"What..is that?" I asked covering my nose. She lifted her eyebrows.

"Does the smell bother you?" She asked.

"I don't know!" I said. She opened the wrap exposing two pieces of bread with stuff in it.

"This is a sandwich, do you want to try it?" She asked. The food definitely smelled like human food. But way better then the food they gave me, but why did she want to give it to me.

"Sure, I'll take it." I said snatching it out of her hands. She watched me. I looked at the 'Sandwich'

I opened my mouth before taking it in my mouth. My eyes widened. It actually had flavor. Not that I cared but it was really good. I never had human food, I usually just ate fruit and stole fruit. Sometimes killed chickens and cows . But this was different.

"Do you like it? Does it taste bad?" She asked. I shook my head.

"It's really good." I said before eating more.

"So human food doesn't make you throw up?" She asked.

"No it doesn't," I said before I swallowed it whole. After eating it I let out a pleased sigh. I turned to look at her. She simply watched me before smiling.

My eyes widened slightly almost causing my eyes to switch to normal. Why is she..smiling? At me of all people? What a dumb human. Though I couldn't help the feeling in my chest, I simply looked away.

He can eat regular food, meaning he could actually be disguised as a human. Last night I had came up the idea of testing somethings on my own. I believe Kyubi-san on what he said, and I believe he could be treated as a human.

That meaning he isn't a threat. So I made sandwiches to see if he'd be able to eat it. In the books it said demons throw up and get extremely sick, but Kyubi-san resulted differently. He seemed to enjoy it.

As I watched him eat it I suddenly felt glad he enjoyed it.

"What? Stop staring at me." He suddenly said looking to side after he finished.

"Oh! Uh..would you like another one?" I asked. I had made four. It had turkey,tomatoes, and lettuce and a sauce.

He looked at me with eyebrows furrowed.

"And if I do?" He asked.

"Then you can eat with me." I said. This was a test for his trust as well. If he's gone this far without harming me it proves he's not completely evil.

Though I don't want anyone knowing these test I'm going to test the information I was given.

"Fine, just give me another one. It's better then the normal food I get here. " He said. I reached into my bag pulling out another on before giving it to him.

The two of us then went to the table in the center though he stood while I sat in the chair. I held onto the leash. It was strange though I've known Kyubi-san for about 2 weeks now, I no longer feel scared of him. Though there are times I sense the power he has.

He ate the sandwich quickly so I gave him the last one. At the end he burped before turning away.

I sighed. Before continuing to eat mine.

"What was the point of this? You feed me human food right?" He asked. I looked at him. His red eyes piercing mine.

"I'm just testing somethings I want to know." I said honestly.

"Why secretly?" He asked "What think I'll trust you more?"

"Not right now but maybe later on." I said. He chuckled, sarcastically.

"Oh really? " he asked. He crossed his arms.

After that day I started taking him out a few times to give him food. Slowly he was more accustomed to it. And the questions I needed to ask him still went on.

After about two more weeks I had made some well made pasta and planned to share it with Kyubi-san but as I walked pass a closed door room, I stopped after hearing.

"It's about time we start with the old testing, don't you think?"

"Yeah Hyuga-san has been asking these meaningless questions, when all we really need is the power within the Kyubi."

"We'll start the planning the operation tomorrow and start it later this week."

I felt my eyes widened. What operations? I quickly made my way to the demon cell area and made it Kyubi-san's cell.

"Oh, you're finally here. You're late." He said coldly.

"Kyubi-san I need to ask you some important things." I said. I took him out of the cell before taking him to the normal room. I had told the other scientists that I was testing him in that room with questions.

And if what they said was true. That means they won't care for that information. When Kyubi-san and I entered, I gave him the pasta then let go of his leash.

"Huh? Why are you so rushed?" He asked before he started eating.

"Kyubi-san? Remember that time you said you didn't want them to turn you into a monster? What did you mean by that?" I asked. He looked shocked before he frowned.

"What you didn't know? What have they been telling you this whole time? I was a test subject here. When I was a kid they had physical test on me everyday. They would treat me like I was nothing a test me until my body was red to see how my body would react. Foolish human, did you actually think they were trying to see if I was good or something? It doesn't matter cause all they want is the Kyubi!" He said anger in his tone.

My eyes widened and I felt completely shocked. I hadn't known that. I was told they brought him to turn him good, to make him good to help them in the wars. So all they've been telling me is a lie? He continued eating his pasta. I then took him back to his cell without a word.

"It was nice playing house with you Hyuga-san, but truth be told I'm going to kill everyone here." He said before putting his hoodie on his head before sitting down on the ground. I looked sadly at him.

When I left for home I suddenly felt angry. Waiting out side for me was Toneri-san.

"Oh Toneri-san." I said with a fake smile. I really wasn't in the mood for anything. He went up to me then hugged me.

"Hello dear, I'm going to walk you home. You look tired." He said. I simply nodded. Kyubi-san is going to end being killed just for extra support in the war.

All the other demons like him were probably killed without me knowing. I felt horrible. He said they want his demon meaning there must be a human and a demon separately connected. So they are trying to only use the beast within.

As I walked with Toneri-san I couldn't help but ask. I held his hand.

"Toneri-san?"

"Yes?" He asked. I turned to him.

"Are the tailed demons we captured alive ?" This caught him off guard. But he smirked evilly.

"Yes, they help us a lot too. That one Kyubi of yours will soon join them. Must have been terrible working with a killer." He said.

I frowned slightly before turning to the front. He lied to me. He knows that them personally get killed. As I made my way into my room. I grabbed a notebook then began writing away.

It was late at night when I suddenly smelled that sweet nice smell. I opened my eyes before sitting up. The female science, what's she doing here?

I watched as a light soon was seen and I heard the cell unlock. Huh? She was wearing a dark cloak, I wouldn't know it was her if I couldn't smell.

"Lady? What's going on?" I asked, were the test starting already? I was about to attack but I watched as she grabbed my hands in the cuffs.

"I'm here to release you..." she whispered. My eyes widened.

"What?" I asked. She didn't let me continue. I began being pulled out. The whole place was dark and no one was around. Was this seriously happening. We went into the same room we usually went to eat food. She pressed a button before a hidden door appeared.

Grass was seen and the forest was just up the hill.

She had a key and it soon glowed with purple chakra. My eyes widened, regular humans don't have chakra. She unlocked my chains. She pulled down her hoodie before she gave me a sad smile.

"Run, run far far away from here and never turn back. It was nice meeting you Kyubi-san." She said. I felt my chest hurt before I frowned.

"Foolish..human.." I said before I ran away quickly. But I couldn't help but turn my head to simply see her watching me run to the forest. I frowned. I closed my eyes as I turned my head forward.

"Such a dumb human!" I yelled. But I was a dumb demon.
