Empty Things

There's only one emptiness I crave

My soul, of worldly things

For then I am prepared

to be filled to the brink

with the transforming power

of the King

It is only in the emptying of self, of cold & worthless fading temporary things, that we are in an optimal position to be filled to overflowing with Holy Spirit fire.
