Failed Cure
Quickly, quickly, quickly. This word rambled in my mind. Quickly, quickly. My eyes spied the clear pond covered in yellow-green greenery. Quickly, quickly, I reminded myself. The hospital needs the curing water to cure patients near death.
[One Journey Later]
I'm home with the cure in tow. "Give it to me, please.", a woman says strictly yet kindly. I hand it to her, "Good luck."
[At Home]
I keep thinking about the journey here. I had taken a drop of water to cure my fatigue but didn't feel much different. I turn on the news and slapped across the screen Curing Water Fails to Cure.
