Everyone was a mess by the time they exited the ship. Storm's ice was still on the ocean, so they took it. The whole time they walked, the boy who created the path was on their minds.

Erza helped her son walk with his crushed leg, him hopping on one foot.

Gray walked out with Mika holding his hand, she was sad. Not because of the death she was told about, but because that's how everyone else was. Sad.

Nova was standing by Reiki, in case he ever needed her help in some way. In the condition he was in, anything could happen.

Romeo was carrying Luna in his arms, she was extremely light. Obviously, she needed nutrients and ASAP. He was going a bit faster to get to Wendy, Luna was in the most need of healing.

Nashi, Gale, and Rin stood side by side. Nashi kept her head low, believing that it was her fault that Storm had died. That because she didn't make it there fast enough, he died. When she found out she had an older sister... she felt a little more happiness enter her. It wasn't much, but it was enough to get her talking once more.

Gale's head was up, but he wasn't happy or even angry anymore. Sadness fueled him up. The more he thought about his best friend dead the more he felt like crying. He couldn't think about it, he couldn't.

Now Rin... he, he was angry. He kept his fists and his jaw clenched. People react to death in different ways, and anger was Rin's way of saying he was suffering. He lost his brother, and he was angry because of it. He hadn't been able to even say sorry to him. Sorry that He turned. Sorry that he couldn't be there for Sylvia.

Sorry that he was such a failure.

When the group arrived at the regular ship, Romeo immediately brought Luna to Wendy. At first, Wendy was surprised to see that she was even alive. But she got to work in no time.

When Nashi came on board, she was meeted with Sylvia. Sylvia asked, "Where's my brother?"

A wave of regret came over Nashi. Her face instantly turned to despair. She stayed silent.

Sylvia's breathing got shakier with every passing second, "Nashi... where is he?"

And with every passing second, Nashi was feeling more and more regret come over her. It was like she couldn't get a break.

Her voice trembled, "Where's my brother?! Where's Storm?!"

Nashi still didn't let a word come out of her mouth. She stayed quiet, only crying. That's all she could feel like she could do, was cry.

"Answer me!" Sylvia screamed, "Where's my brother?!" She asked again.

This was the moment where Nashi knew, she wasn't hurt the most. She wasn't the only one that got affected by death.

Sylvia let out a cry, just a scream. A blood curdling one at that. She couldn't hold it in. She'd lost her brother, the one who'd she trusted everything with. The one that she grew up knowing as a big brother and guardian. He was always there for her, he didn't care what type of mistakes she made.

He's made his own mistakes, but did he really... did he really deserve death for it?

She stopped screaming the moment she felt an embrace. It was Gale, her brother's best friend. Who was also crying. Almost as bad as she was.

"Please," he said lowly, almost a whisper. "Please stop screaming... it's not like you..."

The sun was gone, and it started raining. Sylvia brought it.

As Wendy healed Luna, tears dropped out of her eyes. Romeo was right behind her, crying with her.

"Do you think... sadness is bad for the baby?" Wendy asked. Romeo just stared at her. He squatted next to her.

Wendy's eyes didn't leave Luna, a green magic still came from her fingers. "Romeo... I'm... I'm pregnant."

Nova's eyes felt sore and raw, but she couldn't stop the tears. Her father came up to her and she hugged him, needing the comfort.

Gray couldn't bring himself to cry. He's lost so many people, it was as if he ran out of tears.

Erza never cried either. She managed to hold up.

Nashi was bawling. The anger that she had turned completely into sadness. She sat by Luna, waiting for her to heal. Happy and Lucy had joined them. It was such a bad time to bring back the child she thought was dead. Right after someone else important died.

Rin walked up to Sylvia, and placed his hand on her shoulder. For a moment, Sylvia felt protected again. She turned around and immediately started crying into his shoulder.

Miza and Kazi felt remorse for the guild. They didn't know Storm very well, but they knew that he was a great friend.

Caleb's lip quivered. Storm used to drink sometimes with him at the guild.

Kyra looked up at the sky, eyes squinted from crying. Storm is... dead? God damn it.

Rosemary sat by her brother, hugging him. She missed Storm almost as much as she missed her own brother.

Erza and Jellal immediately started embracing when they found eachother.

It was strange... really. There was so many things to be joyous about. But because of a single death... none of it really mattered.

•One Year Later•

|Nashi's POV|

So... ah... Fairy Tail, huh?

Well, it's as rambunctious as ever. There's still chairs and tables flying around like normal.

But, of course, you're not there.

We ended up sinking the ship, leaving your body in it. Believe it or not, it was your father's decision. He believed that you should join Ur in the ocean. We didn't argue with him, everyone thought that he had every right to do so.

For the moment, Gray is taking care of Mika. Since Serenity is still young, Lyon agreed that maybe Mika could have some sibling like figures such as Rin and Sylvia. Of course, Serenity still visits. She has every right.

We buried an empty casket in the Magnolia cemetery. I gave your sister your earring, and we embedded the necklace into the wooden cross above your grave. Every week, Mika wants to go see you, so I take the liberty of taking her there.

I don't think you could understand how bright she is. She can light up anyone's day by just looking at you. I still don't know what side that's coming from, I'm still figuring it out.

Wendy had a new baby, another girl. Her name is Juliet. Romeo is beginning to get super protective of Grandine now. He's always on the look for suspicious... boys.

Your father is the same way with Sylv though, he won't let Gale, or even Reiki, get anywhere near her. It doesn't matter what the reason is, boys cannot come in a 40 foot radius of her or else Gray is seriously going to make you into an ice sculpture.

Oh, Rin is doing amazing. But... it's kinda scaring us.

There was a necromancer that brought him back, wasn't there? But the thing is... we didn't find said necromancer. And your brother is doing perfect, like a living human being. He's been acting normal, for the most part. Sometimes he'll just freeze and not say anything. Then continue with the day like nothing happened.

Unless something serious happens, we're kind of leaving pushing it in the back of our minds.

Now that Erza came back, the Fernandez family has been... perfect. Rosemary and Reiki had especially been showing their love to their father, kind of making Erza angry sometimes. But hey, what can you do?

Speaking of Fernandez, um... Reiki and Nova hasn't been going so well. Reiki was changing, it could've been good, or it could've been bad. It was just the view point you were looking out of.

They recently got into a big verbal fight, it was huge. Reiki didn't know what he was doing with his life anymore. He didn't want to be disabled (his leg was too crushed to heal, he know has to use a wheel chair or crutches). He wasn't sure if he was even into Nova anymore. He was actually questioning his own sanity. They eventually broke it off.

But then, Sabertooth came over for a party for Gray and Erza. Turns out, him and Sting's older son, Lyro, began talking and became really close. Too close.

It's still unsure, but I'm almost positive that they're boyfriends.

Rosemary and Kyle have been hanging around each other as well... but for now I think they're just good friends. For now.

Um, I guess next is my sister. Luna.

When Wendy told me that she couldn't speak... I was surprised. I was wondering how we could communicate, since I could never get sign language down. Turns out, writing is perfect.

I love her, I've wondered what it was like to not be the only child. But now I know! She's not very extroverted like I am, she mostly keeps to herself. Her and Rin have been good friends lately, despite her being 6 years older.

But nothing close to what she has with someone else.

We were having a party for the return of Gray and Erza, and well, Sabertooth came as mentioned before. This time though... something sparked between her and Remington. She's so oblivious to her feelings though. It's like she doesn't even know what to do around him. But I'm happy, I'm hoping someday they can go out. And maybe she'll be the one to ask, without words.

Um...

I hope that you can forgive me. I...

I really haven't been thinking of you lately. It's not like I'm with someone else, because I'm not, but... I don't know.

Without you, it was like the guild... changed. For the next couple of weeks you were gone, it... felt empty. I mean, I guess the more proper term is... I felt empty.

The scene kept replaying in my head again and again, and I just... it wouldn't stop. It was like someone was trying to make me suffer. Reiki though, his nightmares have gone away.

We experienced the same scene, but I alone was stuck with the nightmares.

Well, the couple of nights you left, no one got sleep.

Especially Sylvia.

She went 5 nights without any sort of sleep. 5 nights. She was "this" close to becoming an actual zombie. Luckily, Wendy saw her soon enough and recommended some medicine for her.

Your dad is doing pretty well now himself. He's still trying to get used to sleeping in an empty bed, a bed without his wife or children in it. But he's coping.

Ah, before I forget. I hope you don't get offended by it, but... Gray, he's been in search for another woman. I'm still unsure of his morals. Like is it for Sylvia and Rin, or for himself, or even both?

I don't think you should be mad, I think it's just his way of attempting to move on.

•One Week Later•

I... I have a little brother. He came to us. Storm, my little brother came to us!

But, it could've been on better terms.

He came alone and hurt. He looked so young, but by how bloody and dirty he was, it was as if he was an adult. It looked like he's been through so much.

Once he was healed and cleaned, we asked him about my dad. He... he said that my dad was dead.

They got attacked by demons... neo demons. He said that dad fought really hard to fend them off but didn't make it. He managed to run away and find us on his own.

He's only 12 and he still managed by himself.

Of course, we took him in. He's an introvert like Luna, but when he gets comfortable with someone he gets pretty wild. For example, Grandine. They've been playing with eachother, to Romeo's horror, but they're sweet.

I love him, and I'm so glad that our family isn't as broken as it was.

Anyway, Fairy Tail's changed. But for the better.

I only wish that you were still here.

Fish...

God, why is there so many fish?

The boy's hand slowly went to his chest, he felt like something was missing.

Underwater?

He opened his eyes slowly, unsure of what to think of being on the ocean floor. He looked to both sides and saw parts of a ship, it obviously got destroyed.

Why... why am I here? How can I breathe?

Am I alive?

He started swimming to the top of the ocean, he immediately saw a strange looking island. And he swam to it, it wasn't that far.

Once he reached shore, he examined himself.

What was I doing at the bottom of the ocean? A ship accident?

Wait... what's... what's my name?

He saw his reflection in the water, at least he knew what he looked like.

Raven hair and white eyes...

I can't remember... why can't I remember anything?

He tried to get his memory back, but he only remembered one thing. A color.

Pink? Okay... hair...

Brown eyes...

I see her... it's a girl... but... what's her name?

Wait...

Nashi!
