I was tagged by BabyNekoCiel to write a chapter/one shot of at least 1000 words about a chosen word.

She choose Shadows

The rules are

My actual story will be in the next chapter and it is heavily inspired by a webcomic I found on a shady part of the Internet.

What it has to do with shadows it that it has a character that hides in the shadows and manipulate and so I hope that while it isn't all that much shadows in it it is enough for you Baby Neko Ciel.

My word I choose is wind. Now it's up to you to choose if you want to write a story about it or spend 1000 words describing what wind is.
