Kelly POV

After we went to KFC and order my zinger I ate while Trish drove us home she brought her lunch but according to her she was too happy to eat just yet so she was gonna drive us home so I can get some rest but knowing Trish her over protective self was kicking in and for the next nine months she is going to be a pain in my butt.

I finish eating and fall asleep immediately and did not awake until Trish wake me again telling me that we were home.

Upon opening my eyes and getting familiar with the lighting I noticed that there was four SUV in the drive way that didn't belong to me I was tempted to reverse and go somewhere else dad was the last person that I wanted to see at this time. He has been calling me for the past weeks and I was ignoring his calls I figure as much that he would soon take a trip here.

Reluctantly I open the door and enter my home the moment I enter the living room my eyes were lock on a pair of green eyes I watched as he scrutinized me from top to bottom and smiles approvingly as if he was pleased with what he saw.

I feel Trish came up to me I turned to her and whispered shout 'not a word' she nodded in understanding as I gazed in her eyes ensuring that she understand what I was saying.

'Welcome home sweetheart' I heard my mom's sweet voice echo in my living room I was surprised to see her I figured that dad was here but I didn't expect to see her too my eyes filled with tears as I made my way to her and she took me in her arms. 'how have you been sweetheart I missed you so much' she was literally squeezing the life out of me it's was about six months since we last saw each other but it felt like so much longer. Mom and I have a good relationship even thou she gets overprotective at times I knew that it was just the mother's instincts.

'I missed you too mom' I told her as she released me looked in my eyes and pulls me back into her arms. We broke apart again after dad enter the room with his fatherly greeting.

'You are finally home' I could hear the sternness and disapproval in his voice. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

'Hello dad' I put on a huge fake smile on my face 'it's nice to see you too' I made my way over to him and give him a brief hug which of course he didn't return but I was use to that right now he was angry I could tell, ninety-five percent of the time dad disapproved of me even thou I excel academically, in music and pretty much anything I tried but that didn't stop him from taking my brother under his wings even thou he was never really good at anything except doing as dad says I had always been rebellious I suppose.

'You missed the last board meeting' he said to me with disapproval clear on his face.

'I know dad, I wasn't feeling well' I explained my head wasn't in the right place how could I go to a board meeting.

'Kellyan Henriquez you are raise better than that nothing is to keep you from honoring your responsibilities' he said raising his voice I could literally see the muscles contracting in his face

He knew that I didn't approved of him raising his voice at me I made it very clear when I was twelve-year-old. I closed my eyes take a deep breath and smile 'dad I just tell you I wasn't well hence the reason I couldn't show up, I know it's my responsibility to make an appearance' looking him straight in the eyes 'might I remind you that I never tolerate you raising your voice at me at the age of twelve why do you think that at the age of twenty-one I would tolerate it? In my home at that. Think about what it is that you really wish to achieve here "dad" before I ask my securities to throw you from my property'

'You wouldn't dare' by know fire was blazing in his eyes.

My securities were discreetly standing around the moment he started raising his voice they came in when they heard him raise his voice, they don't take me been threaten lightly by no one.

I look him seriously in the eyes with a smirk 'try me dad' in a deadly voice. We had a starring match until he released a deep breath.

'Fine I was out of place and am sorry. That is not the reason why I came here'

'The great Henriquez just apologize, pinch me so I know that am not dreaming' I replied full of sarcasm 'why did you came here dad?'

'To introduced you to,' he turned to the green eye stranger sitting on my couch that I had forgotten about and motion with his hands for him to come over, 'Pedro Martinez' he smiles dad hardly ever smiles immediately my stomach clenched I realized that he was up to no good.

Pedro extends his hand to me I didn't realized just how tall and well build he was and very handsome he towered over my five feet nine inches figure he must be about six feet something. Even under the blazer and T-shirt I could see that he was muscular he had to worked out to look that good. You could literally hear money screaming looking at him.

I took his hand offered to me and give him a smile which he returned he had a beautiful smile with a perfect set of white teeth. He gripped my hand in a dead grip of a hand shake.

'It's a pleasure to finally meet you Miss Henriquez, I have heard so much about you I feel like I know you already'

'It's nice to meet you as well Pedro, I know nothing about you' I smile sweetly 'please call me kelly'

Dad finished his introduction 'your fiancé' did I hear him right did he just say fiancé? My ears are probably getting lazy but I swear that he just said fiancé. The smile on Pedro's and the terrified look on moms face and Trish gasped told me that I heard right.

'My what?'
