I emptied the contents of the basket on the coffee table as Dontae brought two plates and a jug of lemonade with glasses. The  lunch looks delicious, I had asked Frank to pack lunch but I didn't had a chance to look into the contents of the basket.

Fry chicken, bread, garden salad, ackee and salt fish (my favorite) and a few festival my mouth water and my belly grumble as I looked over the contents. I gave a  satisfied smile as I looked up at Dontae, ' lets dig in' he laughs as he hands me a plate and pour lemonade in a glass and hands it to me.

I didn't waste any time as I load up my plate wait for him to do the same when he finished taking from all containers we both give a small nod and he blessed the food, and we started to eat.

We ate in silence for the most part, the food taste divine and I sigh  as I chuck the last piece of chicken in my mouth and looked over the containers again wondering if I should help myself to some more. I Sigh again louder and slumped my shoulders looking over why I should or should not have another plate. I didn't realized that Dontae had stopped eating and was watching me contently.  It wasn't until he got up and took my plate from my hands and started heaping it with salad and more fry chicken that I realized he had been watching me.

'That's enough' I told him as even thou I was still famish I didn't want to over eat its too uncomfortable.

'You sure?' he asked giving me a questioning look

'yes, am sure' I looked at him and smile reassuringly,' I skipped breakfast, hence the reason am so famish' I explain to him as I started eating again slowly this time.

' Why did you skipped breakfast?'

I looked at him dead in the eyes before I answer him, 'because I was too worked up about seeing you again' I answered honestly. 'I hoped that yesterday wasn't just a fantasy, that the excitement that I fell then I would feel again.'

'And?' 

'And what?' all of a sudden I fell shy me who had never been shy a day in my live, damn this boy!

'And yes, I still feel like am floating on clouds as you can tell I was excited to see you I ran into your arms', I really need to go and see mummy she would tell me what to do in this situation . Patricia, as I fondly calls her mummy is the mother of four beautiful girls (Brianna, Tamara, Coleen, and Mia who was four going on forty) who looks a lot like me. We immediately bond and from then we were sisters. Mummy gives the best advise thou and I love her live a mother.

Brianna is in college, Tamara is graduating from high school, Coleen was in her second year of high school and little Mia was in infant school. There dad Charlie travels a lot due to work so he is almost never around, but he stills sees me as part of the family.

I saw a satisfied smirk on Dontae's face as I answered his question but he didn't say anything as we finish eating in silence.

'Come here' he motioned for me to come sit beside him, which I gladly oblige but instead of allowing me to sit beside him he pulled me onto his lap and started kissing me hungrily and I returned the kissed with as much hunger.
