Toby's perspective:

I woke up in a haze, what happened? Where am I? A million questions filled my head. I sat up and looked around.

" Huh.....? W-Where the he-hell am I?" Too my surprise someone answered.

" You've fallen down human."

I took my goggles off to get a better look at the girl in front of me. It was the same girl I saw before I passed out!

I twiched and asked, " Who a-are you?"

She answered, " Greetings I'm Chara and who are you? "

Chara prospective:

He inspects me for a moment before answering. He replied, " T-Toby ....."

I decided to check his status, but when I did I was shocked to see how much L.O.V.E he had. I guess he killed some humans on the surface.... I guess I should have suspected it since he had blood on his clothes, but I thought it was because he was hurt.

He started to get up when I realized how low his HP was.

"Careful, your HP is low." I said without thinking. Great I probably just confused him.

He looked confused and said,"My what?" Then he looked at HP bar. " T-The hell...?"

I decided to try my best to explain the situation," You must be so confused, so let me explain it in terms that you can understand. Think of life as a video game. Your HP is your health points and when you're HP is at 0 you die. Understand?"

Toby tilted his head slightly. "Okay.....I-I think I got that.....but w-where am I? " He twiched.

I gave him a simple answer, " You're in the Underground where the monsters dwell."

"...... Alright...." He walks to a nearby wall. "..so am..." He  Twiched. " I stuck h-here....?

I gave him an honest answer, " You can escape but it's very dangerous."

" What ever it t-takes....." His expression darkened. "H-How do I leave? " His expression sent shivers down my back. I had to make sure he knew he couldn't kill.

" Don't kill anyone....or He will give you a Bad Time." I replied darkly.

"He.....? " Toby gave me a confused expression.

".... Just don't kill..... although that's going to be difficult to go through the Underground without killing." I knew if I didn't help him he would die just like the others.... except maybe Frisk....why did he fall instead of Frisk any way?

His voice snapped me out of my thoughts. " I-I'll try, it'll be hard..." He walked next to me. " But not impossible..."

The more I thought about the situation the more I realize that this is my chance. This is my chance to stop Frisk, if I help him he can help me save my friends before Frisk falls. That way no monster dies....but Frisk will reset ......I'll figure that out later right now I have to set the plan in motion.

" I'm willing to make a deal with you, I will give you the ability to respond after you die and help you escape this hell hole..." I say calmly.

Toby's perspective:

I was amazed, could she actually give me that ability?? Whoa I was getting ahead of myself there had to be a catch. Something that good there has to be a catch. I cross my arms over my chest and looked at her. " What's the catch..?" I said as I twiched.

Chara simply replied, " You must help me free the monsters."

I thought for a moment I don't know what's down here.....and she seems to know her way around....so what choice do I have but to trust her....

" Okay f-fine. I'll h-help you i-if you h-help me. "

" Good." She replied. " Now give me your hand."

I reluctantly do as I'm told and she hold my hands. I look up at her and notice her features. Her chocolately brown hair, ruby red eyes, cute little nose and the perfect shade of pink on cheeks perfectly match with her complexion. And she actually reminded me of someone I used to have a crush on before I met Slender. Without realizing it I found myself blushing at her touch.

" I need to fuse our souls together so I can give you this power ......but that means we'll be connected forever.... Do you still want to go through with this?"

Her voice snapped me out of my thoughts. " Y-yeah."

She looked down for a moment. " Oh and Toby...."

"..Yeah..? "

" What ever happened..... don't let go..."

Her expression worried me but I nodded. " O-Okay.."

Chara's perspective:

I start using my magic and Determination to connect our souls. It hurt like hell but I continued anyway. My soul appeared and so did his orange soul. I slowly connect our souls. He just stared in amazement.

" What i-is this??" He looked at his soul and back at me.

I giggled, " That's your soul silly."

" My soul? Why is my soul a different color than yours? "

" Each soul has different Soul traits. Different colored souls mean specific traits it's a person has. For example if your soul was purple your main character trait would be perseverance or your soul for example. Your soul is orange which means bravery."

His eyes lit up with excitement and wonder. " So c-cool!!"

I giggle, it's strange how he reminds me so much of Asriel.

" S-so how w-will this w-work?" He asked me a little confused.

" I'll basically follow you everywhere and I may be invisible or look like an object...so in other words your the only one that can see me ...at least I think so..." I replied not really sure of my answer.

He nodded, " S-So shall w-we continue m-my lady?"

" We shall." I giggled and followed behind him.

   It didn't take us long to run into the small soulless flower better known as Flowey.

Toby asked a little confused, " Where's t-that music c-coming from????"

Toby's perspective:

Chara replied, " Music comes from the soul and each monster soul I open so they can use magic. The music your hearing is music that's coming from the very being..... though in this case I have no idea how considering that this monster has no soul...."

I look at the flower ahead of us.

" O-okay that's really c-cool that monsters can h-have there own theme song....but...... y-you're t-telling me t-that flower i-is a m-monster with n-no soul....? D-Does that m-mean it w-wants to k-kill m-me....?" I asked a bit amazed.

" Yeah....he does but don't kill him..... most monster can be befriend.."

The small yellow flower just stared, " You're not Fris- I mean howdy! I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower. You must be new to the Underground aren't ya."

I pulled out some celery from my pocket and started to eat it.

Flowey gave me a horrified expression, "Uuuuuuuuuhhhhh I'm gonna leave now bye..." He disappeared underground.

" I can't believe you did that!" Chara laughed.

I loved the sound of her laugh, it was cute and sweet. I started hear some strange music again. Was Flowey back?! I thought I scared him off?!

( Music Toby was hearing:

I turn around to see a weird goat lady.

" Oh you poor child you must be so scared. I'm Toriel caretaker of the Ruins and who might you be young one? " The goat monster voice was soft and conforting.

I whispered to Chara, " I-Is she okay? Can I t-trust her?"

" Yes you can trust her....she'll treat you like her child." Chara smiled sadly.

" I'm T-Toby." I said to Toriel.

She smiled, " That's a lovely name Toby. Toby would you like to come with me to my home so that you can rest."

" Sure." I replied as the kind hearted monster took my hand.

She open the door to the Ruins and stepped inside. This is how my Undertale began.
