It's been week's since I locked myself in my room.I spent these Week's thinking our first meet,our first date,our first kiss and seeing pictures we have taken together.We thought of living happily,having children and raising them together.But I didn't expect this to come. By then, there is a knock on the door.

"Laura please open the door. It's been week's since you talked to any one of us.Laura do you remember we thought of going for a holiday after our graduation? I think this is the best time to go and it will help you out", Jessica said from the other side of the door.

I opened the door and walked towards the window and looked the busy street's of New York through the window.By the time she let herself in and made her way to me and placed her hand on my shoulder. I turned around and I just cried on her shoulder.

"Listen Laura,it's going to be okay.I know how you are feeling now.It's very hard. But this is not only the thing in life,you have many things in this world outside and chase after them.Eventually in this process you will get to forget Louis",she said soothing me.

"Get ready and come down for breakfast, your parents are very worried about you and we will discuss where to go after breakfast , "I nodded.

While showering I decided to go for trip by myself. So after I got out from the bathroom, I booked flight tickets which leaves as early as possible.I packed my luggage, leaving them on bed and headed downstairs.

" Laura, are you okay?Why do you make such stupid thing?"mom asked worried.

"Sorry to worry you all",I said.

"Common let's have some breakfast. Your mom made your favourite waffles, "dad said.

" I'm so happy you accepted to go for a trip. Where did you both decided to go? "mom asked while eating our yummy delicious waffles.

" we still didn't decide......,"Jessica started but I interrupted.

"Los Angeles "I paused for a second and said "alone and going to take a flight in an hour".

"What? How could you go alone? In this past few days you locked yourself and now going alone, if anything happens to you. And what's hurry you can leave tomorrow also. We can't allow you. Take Jessica with you, "mom said concerned.

" Mom I'll make sure to be okay and don't worry about me, "giving a hug and I turned towards Jessica and said," I'm sorry. I just wanted to go alone and I promise you,we will make another time after things get settled. "

" It's okay Laura, I understand. I wanted to go just to make you feel better. If you want to go by yourself, just go and enjoy. Please be careful full and call any of us everyday, "Jessica said.

She is the most understanding friend I ever have. I went to my room and came down with my luggage which I packed before.As Sam is in school, she doesn't know that I'm going. I bid goodbye to them and caught a cab and went to the airport.After 6hrs of journey, finally the plane landed. I collected my luggage and got out of the airport and got into one of the taxis standing and said my destination to the driver.As it's already evening, the city is looking beautiful with lights. After driving for 30min the taxi dropped me by hotel.I paid the bill to him and entered the hotel and went straight to the front desk.

"Welcome mam, how can I help you?" receptionist asked,who is in her mid 30's with blonde hair.

"I reserved a room with the name Laura Spencer, ".

" Yes mam, it's room no. 501, "she said after checking it for sometime in the computer before her and said the room boy to help me get there.

I said thanks to her and followed the boy.He guided me to my room and left the luggage door way.I closed the door after he's gone. The room is large with kitchen on the left side. I hoped on bed and my body facing the ceiling.And the memories flashed before me and a tear rolled down from the corner of my eyes and falling on to the mattress. I rested like that for some time. After I took a shower and I changed into pajamas with a half sleeves tee shirt. I ordered my food through the telephone in the room. After 20mins the same boy before got the food and left. I completed eating and started searching for the places to go tomorrow.There are many places to visit so I decided to go for Exposition Park first.

I woke up by the sunlight passing through the window. I did my morning regular activities. After I'm ready, I got into the elevator. I usually have a habit of dancing when I was alone in the elevator. As I'm not in a mood now, I was just seeing the image of me on the iron walls of the elevator. Then suddenly the doors opened which made me alert and a man entered the elevator and stood at one corner. As I was at another corner I turned my head side slightly to look at him,making sure that he doesn't know that I'm seeing him. He is tall and lean with brown curl hair and he have a sparkle in his eyes.I think he must be two to three years older than me.Just then he turned his head towards me and gave me smirk.

"Did he see me checking him out, "I thought in my mind. Then he laughed slightly."Damn did I say out? " I thought in my mind. He again laughed. Then the elevator reached down and the doors opened. I quickly got out feeling embarrass.

After that embarrassing moment I went to the Exposition Park which I decided yesterday night to go. There are many things to see in this park. So I first went to Rose Garden,this place very calm,piece and the smell of the roses made me forget everything. I love gardens, which makes me feel fresh and active.After spending some time, I went to California American African museum. After seeing them I came out and now that it's afternoon and my stomach started growling. So I went to one of the stalls and ate quickly.Then I went to Science Centre, which explains how they work, there inventions and also have an exhibition about them. After that I went to Natural History Museum Of Los Angeles County, it had different animal specimens and mostly of Dinosaurs.I love science, I enjoy it. Though I'm not good at science thing, I love it.

As I'm very tired,I caught a taxi and went to the hotel.I went towards the elevator and was waiting for it.Just then a man came and stood beside me waiting. So I turned to see who it is and my eyes went wide. He is the same person I saw morning.I turned shutting my eyes. Then elevator came and we got in.There is a silence and he broke speaking.

"Hello, "he said.

" Hi,"I said in a low pitch.

"I'm Harry Collins, "he said extending hi hand.

" Laura Spencer, "I said smiling, giving him hand shake.

Hey lovelies,
Sorry for the late update. I'm bit lazy. From now on expect an update on every Wednesday. If I didn't update then assume that something came up(like exams and we need to do a lot of work as dental students).And I'm so nervous,as my results are going to be out in 3 days *fingers cross * and my college starts the day after results(feeling sad). Yay this is the longest chapter I have written.

And what do you think about the chapter. How is the meeting between Harry and Laura?. I really enjoyed it while writing.
