*the next morning*

Matthew's P.O.V

I didn't even take my time to stretch. I got out of bed and started walking towards Tia's room. I had to. I wanted to talk to her, and I wanted to apologize for my behaviour yesterday.

I walked by the living room to see Shawn sleeping on the couch.

I simply laughed looking at both of us. We were both acting like 3 year old kids to prove to Tia who liked her more.

It is stupid what we're doing.

I knocked on Tia's room door and I waited for a few seconds before I knocked again. There was no noise. So I assumed she was still sleeping and opened to door a little bit to peek.

"What the heck?" I said out loud and walked into her bedroom

The bed was made, the bathroom was cleaned, the whole room was cleaned.

Way too clean. So I opened up her closet to see that there was nothing. All her clothes were gone.

"SHAWNNNN!!" I yelled for him to come into the room, but I got no answer

I walked out of her room and sat on the kitchen counter and just waited till Shawn got up.

I looked around the house to see if there was any thing even left of Tia, when I suddenly spotted a pink envelope behind me on the kitchen counter.

As soon as I saw that my heart started racing really fast. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest.

Please don't tell me she left. I said in my mind looking up at the ceiling...but really looking up to God

Calm down Matt. I said to myself in my head. And took a deep breathe in a let it out

I went upto Shawn and started shaking him awake. I couldn't do it myself and I didn't want to do it myself.

"Shawn! Get up!" I said a kept shaking him

"Matthew. Let me sleep for longer. Please." He said and turning the other way

"Please Shawn. It's about Tia." I said and sat down on the carpet holding onto the envelope

Shawn's P.O.V

*sigh* "If your going to ask me to leave her alone, then forget about it." I sad and sat up rubbing my eyes

"Shut up Shawn! This is serious." Matt said and threw what looked like an envelope to me

"What is this?" I asked looking at it

"Well.. it looks like Tia left Shawn. Everything in her room is gone." Matthew said lowering his head in sadness

"No!" I said and bolted towards her room

"No freaking way." I said looking around the room.

"That's not possible Matthew. She - She." I said contemplating on whether or not I should be telling him

"She what?" He said looking up at me

I went and sat on the couch in front of Matt and explained to him what had happend last night.

"She put this blanket on me, last night. She hummed me a song. Lastly, she kissed me Matthew." I said feeling a smile creeping up on my face

Matthew had no words left to say. He just looked up at me with sad eyes and nodded his head.

"I need you to read that for me Shawn." Matt said pointing at the pink envelope

"Okay." I said and opened it up.

I myself was scared to read this. Why would she leave? She kissed me last night. She told me she had feelings for me. Then why would she leave?

As soon as I saw the first line on the note, my heart dropped.

I started reading.

"Dear Matthew and Shawn. I'm sorry but I have to do this, not only for myself but for you guys as well. Matthew, my best friend, I would like to thank you for letting me stay with you and for being the best friend that I needed. Thank you for making me laugh and for making me realize that I am making the right choices. I love you Matt. You will always be my best friend." I stopped there looking down at Matt, who now had teary eyes.

"Keep going." He said wiping away a small tear which had dropped

"Shawn. I don't know how to start, but I want you to know that I like you. I really do." I smiled at that "I'm glad that I have made a friend like you. However, I don't think I could have been just friends with you if I had stayed any longer." I chuckled and heard Matt laugh too "But I have to do this. I can't stand looking at 2 bestfriends fighting over me, because it's not worth it. You both have known each other for longer than I have known any of you. And you can't fight just because you both like the same girl. But seriously, why? I'm a sore loser, that is boring as fuck. Really guys. There's no point, in fight with each other over a girl you guys met not too long ago. I decided to move back to Toronto for a while and just focus on university. I love you both. Goodbye for now." I ended off and kept the note to the side

"She left us Shawn." Matt said

"I know Matthew, but we have to find her. And I promise you. We will." I said and hugged my best friend
