Marriage? I really wanted it but I didn't need it being shoved to my face like that was all that truly mattered. Was I supposed to jump at him at the mention of marriage?

If I was going to forgive him, I didn't need him shoving marriage in my face like I was begging for it. He had thought I'd jump at it and even brought Jaime to help get my things.

"He said he was sorry!" Khloe was busy putting in good words for her brother as she should.

"He ridiculed me!" I shot at her.

She sighed closing her eyes probably to get herself calm, finally opening them back, she smiled.

"He made a huge mistake, are you willing to just throw everything away for that one mistake?" She asked me and sincerely, I didn't want to but when everything seemed the way it was, I didn't want to seem as though I was forcing myself on him.

He could be happy with me out of the picture. I was only making him feel miserable and I knew that. Why on earth would I want to keep doing that.

"Kelvin is a mess right now! Please, if you truly love him, just forgive him. This one time" she pleaded on his behalf.

He was a mess with me around and with me away. Either ways, I keep making his life hard! I stayed quiet not sure how to respond, my head was buried in my hands as I sat on the bed.

"The kids have been asking after you. They asked why their other mommy left and if just like their other daddy you wouldn't want to see them again". That got me! I never expected the kids would want me home, they could've requested their mother but me, why?

I raised my head for the first time since she started talking, making eye contact with her. She gave me that slight nod urging me to make the right decision but was going back to Kelvin the right decision?

I sat in Andy's office as I awaited him, I was told he was attending to a patient and would see me soon. Everything was beginning to weigh down on me and I seriously needed help.

"Look who I got here". I heard him say as he walked in.

Faking a smile, I greeted him as he headed for his seat. We were now seated opposite each other across his office desk between us.

"I've got a problem Andy and it's Alicia". He sighed at the mention of her name. Living with a woman like her would have been a lot more difficult than it might appear it others. Thinking about that past could even be traumatic to him.

"Alicia is a tough one isn't she?" He replied and I nodded sadly.

"How do I get her out of my life Andy? Would I have to always have arguments with Hilda because of her?" I asked him completely concerned about my relationship.

Hilda wouldn't forgive me even after proposing marriage to her. I thought that was the best way I could assure her and open my heart to her but I seem to have punctured her pride.

"You can't get her out of your life except you want to get your kids out of your life. You just have to put her in her place Kelvin". He explained with sincere concern.

He had always been that big brother I never had until Alicia happened. I was really glad we could come together and speak with each other this way again.

"How? You lived with her for five years, you should know her well". I asked him.

"Well.... it was five years of me trying to buy her love. Truth is, she is obsessed with you, only you can find a way to put her in her place. Only you can also assure Hilda that Alicia would never come between the both of you". He explained.

How exactly do I do any of those two? How did I end up being in such a tough situation where I can't go back and moving forward is difficult?

To hell with Alicia.

"I heard Hilda is pissed because you proposed marriage out of nowhere". He said and I nodded. I couldn't miss the smile on his face as I nodded, he seemed rather amused.

"She said I was throwing marriage in her face". I told him.

"Give it time, she would come around. Maybe the kids should meet their mother separately henceforth" he suggested which reminded me of what the kids said about him.

"The kids have been asking after you, they feel you dumped them" I told him.

His face fell, and was followed by a deep sigh. If fear had a face it would be his in that moment.

"How do I look at them, if I hadn't found out by chance that they weren't mine I'd still be in Alicia's bondage Kelvin. Looking at them, reminds me of everything! I just need time!" He explained and I nodded in understanding.

Those kids are smart, they kept asking several questions, very tough ones. It's difficult explaining to them what a conniving bitch their mother was or how difficult it was for everyone.

"I hope it doesn't take too long tho". I told him.

Since he had a busy schedule, I had to leave immediately we were done talking and made up my mind to go see Hilda.

I stopped by a flower shop and got her the red rose she loved so much before heading for my sister's home. She should be back from work now, especially since she now work with Khloe at her own publishing company.

"Don't fight with your brother Jade!" I heard her reprimand Jade who was sitting on her brother. I smiled at the scene before me, I wasn't expecting to meet the kids here.

"Daddy" Jade who caught sight of me yelled followed by her brother, gaining Hilda's attention.

"Baby" she said with a smile, one that always have me falling over again.

"I came to...."

"It's fine" she said joining the kids in hugging me.

"Brought you flowers" I told her giving her the bouquet of flower I had with me, she grinned from ear to ear as she smelled the flowers.

"Can we go back home? I miss your food" she whined and I nodded eagerly. I missed having her by my side, it's been lonely ever since.

"But I've got a condition" she stated.

"I agree" I replied her with a smile without even listening to what she had to say. Whatever her condition was, I agree.

"Won't you listen first?" She asked laughing at my eagerness.

"I'd do anything you want baby".

"Alicia is not allowed in our house, not even for a second". She said and I couldn't help but go mute. We had kids together, how was I going to enforce this rule?

Would I ever get the peace of mind I need?
