I SEEM TO SEE THE END RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING ~ Chris Landon.
KHLOE DIAMOND
Talk about a very terrible mood and I'd probably be a suitable example today. I wasn't only disappointed, I was humiliated in front of that annoying receptionist, I got my hopes up and had it shattered just the same day. There is no way I was letting he lead me on again, not now not ever.
"How did your date go last night" Hilda asked me as she and Fiona entered my office first thing in the morning for juicy gists.
"It wasn't a date and it never happened!" I replied firmly focusing on my work computer.
"What do you mean it never happened?" Fiona asked me.
"He bailed, now can you two just leave me?" I replied them.
My eyes caught something just in that moment which I started looking into while these annoying two would not stop their foolishness.
"Has he called?" Fiona asked
"No" I replied sharply
"Did you call him?" Hilda asked this time. I frowned as I replied her with a "never"
"So..." Fiona started but I was quick to cut her short.
"Who was the graphics designer in charge of "The Mistletoe?" I asked Hilda.
"Finn Tallman" she replied.
"Fire him and have someone do the job over, it's trash and the author is complaining terribly" I replied her and placed a call for my secretary.
"But why go as far as firing him? I know your mood right now is messy. Why not reconsider it and decide by the end of the week?" Hilda solicited for him.
Finn Tallman, an idiot that was brought in here by the director few months ago, and had only brought us several problems since then. I can't keep working with unqualified people, and the director would definitely not be against this because she asked me not to cut him any slack. Or not?
I've made my decision anyways and it isn't on impulse or due to my terrible mood.
"Fire him immediately or leave instead of him" I told her firmly. Thankfully, she was quick to understand how serious I was and replied with a
"Yes ma'am". After-which she left with Fiona.

Just when I thought maybe, just maybe my day would get better, an unwanted visitor walked into my office. It was few minutes past one in the afternoon. He neither called or messaged all day and he felt he could just stroll into my office? What a terrible thinking.
I didn't spare him a glance, I just walked straight out and went for my secretary. She stood up immediately she saw me walking out in anger with him following behind me.
"Was Chris Landon on my list for today?" I asked her in anger.
"No ma'am" she replied.
"So he has no appointment with me, what have I told you about allowing random strangers into my office?" I asked her. She looked between Chris and I not finding the right words to say.
"Stranger? Khloe!" He said in disbelief and maybe hurt, who cares?
"I asked you Pat." I yelled wanting a response from her.
"I'm sorry ma'am, I thought you two were close!" She replied.
"If you ever have such stupid thoughts again, you won't get to have to think anymore! I'm sure you understand"
"Yes ma'am"
I walked out of her, of Chris who won't stop following around.
"I'm sorry! I really meant it when I said I wanted to start over, to get to know you. I'm sorry for making two people's memory something only one person remembers and that is why, that is why I want to make new ones with you" he kept spilling sweet nonsense but I wasn't going to let that work on me.
"Annie was attacked at the hotel last night, I met her with blood gushing out of her head. She had to go through surgery, and I just couldn't leave her alone. My phone was back at the hotel and with all I was going through the date skipped my mind" he explained.
So it was a date! Nah supposed to be a date.
I was going to talk when his phone went ringing. I kept wishing for him to ignore it.
Don't pick it!
But he did....
"One minute" he said as he picked his call.
"Hello.... she did what? Why?...." he stopped for a minute, looked at me like he was trying to make a choice.
"I'd be right there!" He finally said.
"Annie left the hospital, and she isn't well yet neither has been discharged! I really have to go" he explained to me and I nodded.
"Yeah, go after her" I replied him
"I would come see you tonight, at yours" he said as he ran out of my office except he wouldn't need to come see me.
Annie was his first choice, he'd always pick her first!

Annie's POV
I laid in my hospital bed with my head banging, I was told I might have some of these headaches sometimes and this was one of the sometimes. I could hear footsteps of someone approaching and thought it was probably the doctor or a nurse but the scent was different and oddly familiar.
It's him!
Quietly allowing him get to my bed, I was going to hit the button and have him caught when I noticed he wasn't going to physically attack, he was tampering with the IV. Why is he so bent on killing me?
"It's you again! You think I wouldn't know the scent of a man I slept with just a day before?" I asked him and he tried escaping but I was quick to hold his hand.
"Who sent you?" I asked looking him in the eye but he just wriggled his hand out and left.
I wanted to alert the hospital but my phone just had to ring and it was Aunt Lanna. What does Chris' psychopath of a mother want from me?
"Aunt Lanna....." I said but she cut me off as quickly as possible.
"This is just a warning Annie! Keep Chris in check. Oh, if word gets out, you'd be dead" she threatened me and ended the call.
My heart was thumping in my chest! She was behind this, how? Why? Why was she so obsessed with everything Chris does?
I warned him, I warned that bastard!
Thinking about the next thing I could do at this moment, all that ever occurred to me was to escape this hospital, it's really dangerous.

Author's note
Shouldn't all psychos be at the hospital? I guess Annie's life is really at risk and dependent on Chris' behavior.
