Imagine:
Clayton giving you your first kiss.
You threw your head back with a laugh, quickly grabbing your headphones before they fell from your head. You friend, Steve, had just made a comment that everyone in your Skype call had found hilarious. Your call contained Gary (Gizzy to most of the world, including those of you in the call), Steve, Ashley, and Clayton. You had always harbored this tiny crush on Clayton, but it had recently grown to an uncomfortably great level.
"Okay! My turn! Never have I ever imitated what I think a dog would say about Halloween during a summer trip to Disney!" Steve called, continuing the game. You made a face at your camera, as all of you had your cameras on. You were testing out a new game to see if it was one you would like to record for your YouTube channels.
"Alright, that was low. You know I had just gone to the dentist. I was loopy, it's not like I knew what I was saying!" You attempted to argue, staying on your platform while everyone else's characters jumped forward as they laughed.
"I really wish I had been there to see that!" Ashley admitted through her peals of laughter. You scowled jokingly.
"Don't tell me you've turned to the dark side too, Ashley."
"We have cookies!" Gizzy pitched in excitedly. You grinned and rolled your eyes. Dork.
"They're probably a little burnt though, none of us over here know how to cook." Clayton's statement was true. Having stayed at the home of everyone in the call at least once, you knew you were the only one able to make a decent meal.
You had recently gotten your own apartment, and a large one at that. It was nice, fully furnished with two recording rooms. One for you and one for times like this when you had a friend come and stay. Clayton was staying the week in order to go with you to a convention that weekend. You were excited and jumped at the idea of spending more time with him in real life. This time had, of course, been filled with endless Skype calls while separated by sound proof foam-covered walls. It was still nice to know he was in your presence though, to know he was there. You did in fact see each other a lot in the past couple days he'd been there, and just that much was worth it all.
"Alright alright, my turn," Gizzy interrupted your thoughts. "Never have I ever... Kissed a guy!" Gizzy's character jumped forward, along with Clayton and Steve's. Ashley began arguing in protest about how her and yourself would be left behind, but after a moment you too jumped onto the next platform. You felt your cheeks go red, the call silencing for a moment. You dared to look over at the faces of your friends. Ashley looked defeated, Gizzy and Steve were on the verge of laughing, the mischief evident on their faces, and Clayton looked confused. His eyebrows were knit together and his mouth was open just enough for his teeth to pull at his bottom lip.
"Well this is an awkward turn of events." Steve broke the silence.
"Yeah, Gizzy trying to be sexist over there really backfired didn't it?" Ashley remarked with a grin.
"Hey! Let's focus on the big picture here, you've never been kissed by a guy (Y/N)?" Gizzy changed the subject.
"Uh... No?" It came out as more of a question than anything. Steve's eyes gained a mysteriously insane glint to them and he began to grin like a maniac. He leaned towards his keyboard and typed furiously. Gizzy's face soon mirrored Steve's.
"Clayton you're over at (Y/N)'s house, correct?" Gizzy asked. Slowly, Clayton nodded.
"Yeah... Why?"
Steve gave out a fangirl squeal. "My OTP! Yes oh my god! I need a moment!" He fanned himself dramatically. It took a second, but it finally clicked in your mind what they meant. For the second time in the past ten minutes, your cheeks turned crimson.
Clayton still didn't understand. "I have literally no idea what you mean, but okay!" He let out a laugh, his smile making your heart flutter. You had fallen, and you had fallen hard.
Gizzy and Steve kept pushing Clayton on the subject without actually saying anything, and soon he realized what your two friends were talking about. His eyes widened and he went silent. You weren't exactly sure how to take his reaction. Was he embarrassed? Was he scared? Was he mad? Was he- and this one hurt the most to think about- disgusted?
With one or two more comments made, Clayton quietly muttered something before standing up and walking away from the computer. Steve and Gizzy laughed in your headphones, but you paid them no mind as you worried about Clayton. Was he alright?
You were just about to get up to check on him when your door opened to reveal Clayton. His face was serious and stern, his arms rigid by his sides. Before you could get a word out, however, he had made his way to you in a couple easy strides and took your face in one hand, pressing his lips against your own. Your headphones fell off of your head and you closed your eyes, recovering from the shock and beginning to kiss back. The kiss lasted mere seconds before he pulled away to look at you. He gave you a smile and you gladly returned it. It was now that you realized he had his right arm extended to the side, a finger covering your webcam as his left hand remained on your cheek. You chuckled at this fact.
"You should probably move back a space now." Clayton's voice was a whisper now, bright blue eyes fixed on your own (Y/E/C) ones. You laughed and nodded, unable to speak at the moment. With a final smile, he pressed his lips to your forehead and walked out. You endured the yells and remarks by Gizzy and Steve before Ashley finally spoke again.
"I'm still going to lose though, aren't I?"
