"My, Fang, you're getting to be a good hunter," his mother commented.

"Yeah, but he'll never be as good as me," Morse whined pridefully.

"Oh, stop it, Morse, he's just a kid," Joseina growled in annoyance.

Brock laughed at them as he ran along with the pack. Adolph was just ahead of him, sniffing around for prey.

"Hey, Adolph!" he called ahead, "I think I smell a herd of deer up north!"

"Smells more like caribou to me," Joseina commented politely.

"Alright, let's head more northward then," Adolph agreed.

"Careful," Sylvia warned him, "We're almost at the edge of our territory."

Adolph nodded at his mate and the running pack turned to the north. An owl hooted from above them, its wings fluttering in the moonlight. Dara looked up at it. They eventually came upon a herd of deer. Morse brought down one, with the help of Brock and Sylvia.

The pack feasted on the beast, and Sylvia turned to the pups, "Fang, Dara. I think it's time you helped me teach Star here how to hunt."

"Alright!" Fang mumbled through his food.

"Don't talk with your mouth full. That's rule one," scolded Dara.

"Come on, I smell some rabbits nearby."

They stalked a few of the brown, furry creatures, Dara and their mother teaching Star tactics throughout. Fang, however, wandered off a bit.

He eventually came upon a white one, which was up just a little past it's bedtime. He got ready and pounced on it. Smiling, he looked at his catch. But there was another set of paws on the other side.

He looked up to see a red wolf pup, looking up at him with golden eyes, one of them blind.

"R-Royal?" He asked, turning his head to the side.

"Hey, it's you!" she smiled, "What are you doing here?"

"This is my territory," he responded, "And my name's Fang." He couldn't believe she had forgotten.

"No, this is just outside my territory!" Royal argued.

"Exactly, mine!" While they were distracted, the rabbit hobbled off.

"Oops!" She apologized, embarrassed, "Where are the other two?"

Fang glanced behind him, "Star's learning how to hunt."

"How exciting!" She smiled.

They stood there for a moment before she interrupted the silence, continuing, "Hey, I could sneak over one or two of my litter-mates. Wanna meet 'em?"

"Sure!" Fang barked.

Royal smiled and scampered off to fetch her siblings. Whilst Fang was waiting, his own siblings came up to meet him.

"Fang, where did you go?" Dara asked, "We got worried! You're supposed to be helping."

"Look! I caught one!" Star smiled proudly. He held up a rat for his adoptive brother to see.

"Not a rabbit, but-" Dara was cut off.

"I saw Royal!" Fang told them.

"You saw what?" their mother asked, padding towards them.

"Uhhhh"
