*3rd POV*

What they didn't know, was that Tej was under them. After they drove off, Tej sat up and called Mia. Mia answered. "Yep?" She asked. "The tracker's on." Tej said. "Got 'em." Mia said as she typed on the computer.

Elena walked into her home and as she walked in, she had the necklace on and as she placed her gun down, she took off her jacket and turned the light on. She heard the door opened and reached for the gun, but Dom got it first.

He put his hand over her mouth. She pants. Dom looked at the necklace before slowly removing his hand and took the necklace off her neck and began walking. "I don't understand. Why come here? Why risk it all for $20 worth of silver?" Elena asked him confused. 

Dom looked down at the necklace before looking at her. "Because it's worth it." Dom said before turning away. "You should run, you know. Hobbs will find you. You have every reason to leave. Why stay?" Elena asked really wondering.

Dom looked at the picture of her husband. "Why do you?" Dom asked. "My husband was a good police officer. An honest man. We both grew up here. Two years ago, he was murdered in the street, right outside our door. Reyes owns this favela now. He gives things to people, but everything has a price. People here need a new start. They need to be free." Elena explained.

Dom looked at the gun before putting it down with a sigh. "You didn't kill those man in the train...did you?" Elena asked and Dom faced her again. "Now, why would you believe anything I would tell you?" Dom asked her.

They stared at each other, before Dom walked out. "Hey. Was she so special to you?" Elena asked, knowing that he lost someone he loved. "I never thought anyone could understand how much. But you do." Dom said before leaving, leaving Elena alone to think.

*My POV*

We were in the warehouse, and everyone was still trying to get past the cameras, but to no success. I'm the only one that's been able to. As we kept watching, each time camera still caught them.

Han got out of the car. "Close, but not enough." Gisele told him. "Dom, the window's, too small, man." Han said as Dom and I looked up from a car engine. "The only way we're going to beat the cameras is with...invisible cars." Kayson said. That gave me and Dom an idea. "And we know just where to get 'em. Let's take a ride, boys." Dom said.

We were dropped off and we hopped over the fence of the police station. "Don't hurt yourself." Gisele said as we climbed over. We landed on the ground and took off towards the cars. Soon, the five of us were at a red light.

"It's been a while since I've been behind the wheel of one of these." Brian and Kayson said as I was with Dom and Kayson and Brian were in two separate cars. "First time I've ever been in the front seat." Dom said causing me to grin in the passenger seat. 

Brian chuckled as the other three pulled up. "Hey, Rome, what took you so long? I thought for sure you'd be showing up with some chrome spinners or something." Kayson said causing Roman to laugh.

"Real funny." Roman said causing Brian and Kayson to chuckle. "I got 100,000 says I can take you all in the next quarter mile." Roman said over the P.A. system. "Yeah, your broke ass has got a hundred grand." Brian said. 

"We pull off this job, I will. The next two lights, 100,000." Roman said over the P.A. system again. "If we don't pull this off, we're probably dead anyway. Let's make it a million." Han said before we all grinned.

"I like that. All right, a million-dollar quarter mile." Brian said excited. "All right, then." Han said as we all prepared. "You only live once. Let's do it." Roman said over the P.A. system. "What do you say, Dom?" I asked my brother smiling at him.

"We talking or we racing?" Dom asked causing us to grin. "Just don't cheat this time." Brian said causing Kayson to chuckle. "You gotta let that go." I said as I grinned. They all revved as we kept our eyes on the light.

After we crossed the line, Dom and I were grinning as Kayson and Brian cheered as they won. We pulled into the warehouse. We all got out and I walked over to Kayson and kissed him and wrapped my arm around him.

"Good race, O'Conner's." Dom said as we walking, grinning as his back was to Brian and Kayson. "Thanks, Dom." They said before facing Roman and Han. "You know how long we've been waiting for this shit?" Brian asked.

Roman and Brian dabbed each other up. "I told you they didn't see it." Han said to me as I grinned. "The man right there, he let off the throttle at the line. He didn't do nothin'. He let you two win." Roman said grinning.  "Bullshit." Brian said laughing before realizing they were serious. He was now concerned along with Kayson.

| The next day |

Mia and I were at the grocery store getting some food. As we walked around, Vince came out of nowhere. "Vince, what are you doing?" I asked panicked. "Quiet. They're tracking you." He said to us, before we saw Reyes' men.

We quickly left with Vince, so we didn't get in trouble. As we got to the warehouse, we saw the others working on the cars as we walked in with Vince. Brian and Kayson stormed over. "No, it's okay. Hey, wait." Mia said.

"Reyes' guys were waiting for us at the market. Vince saved our lives." I said calming them down. Brian, Kayson and Vince looked at each other before nodding slightly. "You hungry?" Dom asked loudly.

"Yeah, sure." Vince said. "Good. 'Cause you're saying grace." Dom said and I grinned a little. "Thanks, Vince." Brian and Kayson said before shaking hands with him. As food was being cooking, we were all talking together. RaeLynn was on the couch with Tej.

Mia was on Brian's lap as I was on Kayson's. Han, Tej and Roman cheered. "Yeah, come on, baby, who's good living? Cheers, cheers, cheers. So, we're in Brazil, it's the good life." Roman said. "Yeah." Tej said as he swallowed his drink.

"So, you got a little more than 8, $9 million comin'. What you gonna do with your money?" Roman asked. "Me?" Tej asked. "Yeah." Roman said. "Actually, man, I've been thinking about opening up a garage back home. A place where people can bring their cars and not get completely ripped off, you know what I mean?" Tej asked.

"Really?" Roman asked confused. "Yeah." Tej said firmly. "So, your dreams is to start a day job? That's stupid, like, why--" Roman said but was cut off. "Nah, it's not stupid at all, man. I love what I do." Tej said.

"That don't make no sense to me." Roman said. "I know what I'm gonna do with my money. Buy some cooking lessons for my man." Rico said causing Tego to turn around. "See, see? There you go with that negativity, man." Tego said.

Roman picked up some of the food, noticing it was burnt. "You know me. Money ain't a goddamn thing." Tego said as Roman put it back down. "It's gonna take a little bit more than money, to learn how to cook, bro. That's--that's horrible. But I heard they was looking for a chef down at this animal shelter. I know the manager." Roman said as Han was looking at Gisele.

Vince walked back to the back where Dom was working on a car. As the conversation continued, I watched Vince and Dom. "Hey, Dom. Listen, uh... I know that you're all set for this job tomorrow, but...if you need an extra man--" Vince said but was cut off.

"You're in." Dom said looking at him. "Oh." Vince said as Dom took a drink of his beer. "There's always room for family." Dom said grinning as Vince grinned back. "Thank you." Vince said as Dom wiped his hands. 

"Get something to eat." Dom said grinning as Vince nods. "Yeah." He said. "Can you believe Mia and Izzy calls this a curse?" Dom asked. "Hmm. They might be right." Vince said as they walked together back towards us.

Han was with Gisele as she worked on weapons. "You really like doing that stuff, huh?" Han asked. "When your life is on the line, that's when you learn about yourself." Gisele said before taking a sip of beer. "That's a fair deal." Han said as they grin at each other.

"We're less than 24 hours from the biggest celebration of our life. Y'all need a refill." Roman said as he brought beers towards me, Brian, Mia and Kayson. "This is serious stuff." Roman continued. 

"No, I'm good." Mia and I said refusing. "Cheers, baby." Roman said. "I'm good, no, thank you." Mia and I said smiling. "No, they can't." Brian and Kayson said. "What do you mean?" Roman asked confused.

"They can't." Brian and Kayson repeated. We grinned at each other. "What do you mean they can't? What is..." Roman said but stopped as he saw Brian rub Mia's belly and Kayson rub mine. We grinned as we saw it click.

"Are you serious right now?! Is that the reason you let them beat you in the quarter mile?" Roman asked laughing as the others walked to us. "That was baby gifts." Roman said as everyone came over. 

RaeLynn had the biggest smile since she already knew. "No, that's messed up." Brian and Kayson said looking up as they were about to kiss me and Mia. Mia and I laughed. "It was." We said. "No, you're not taking that from me." Brian said pointing at Roman.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on a second. So, did he just smack the ass or did he grab it?" Tej asked us to laugh. "Which one?" RaeLynn asked teasingly. "Congratulations." Gisele said hugging me and Mia.

"Thank you." We said hugging her back. We got all congratulations. Dom was grinning. "Baby gifts, huh?" Brian asked as him and Kayson joined Dom's sides. "I have no idea what they're talking about." Dom said not admitting it.

"Toast." Dom said out loud. "Toast." Roman said as we all joined together in a circle. Mia and Brian held onto each other as Kayson, RaeLynn and I held onto each other. "Money will come and go. We know that." Dom said.

"The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room, right here...right now." I finished. "Salud, mi familia!" Dom and I said. "Salud!" Everyone else said as we cheered.
