*My POV*

Elena had called me and Dom to the hospital about Hobbs. "Shattered his collarbone, fractured his leg in two places, and he only regained consciousness this morning. First thing he said was, get me Dom and Izzy." Elena told us.

She gestured to a room and we walked towards it before Dom and Elena had a small talk as we walked into Hobbs' room. We saw him laying in a bed shirtless. "Your files." Elena said handing him a folder.

"Thank you." He said. "You risk life and limb to save the free world and what do they give you?" Dom asked. "Jell-O and a bad '70s TV show." I said as Hobbs looked at the tray before looking at the TV.

Hobbs laughed. "You know, it's got its perks. Sponge baths ain't that bad." Hobbs said. "Dad!" We heard a new voice and turned to see a little girl. "Aw, I'm sorry, baby." Hobbs said. "Dad?" Dom asked and looked at Hobbs with a small smirk.

"Honey, I want to introduce you to some people. They're uh-- they're old friends. Go on and say hello." Hobbs said and I smiled. "Dominic Toretto and Isabella O'Conner or formally Toretto, right? My dad said he kicked both your asses once." She said causing Dom and I to smile a little.

"Young lady, watch your mouth." Hobbs said and we looked at him amused. He made that face like he agreed with her. "You dad's on heavy pain meds. I can understand if his history is a little hazy." Dom said.

"I doubt it." She said causing me to smile. "All right, honey, that's enough. I want you to go get something to eat with Elena while me and them have a talk, you hear me?" Hobbs asked. "Come on, lady, let's go get some cookies." Elena said.

"Watch that mouth." Hobbs said and we watched smiling before we looked at Hobbs seriously. "Who did this?" I asked. "You remember Owen Shaw?" Hobbs asked. "How can I not?" Dom asked and I had a feeling I knew where this was going.

"The one we tore half of London down trying to get? Well, this is his big, bad brother. Take a look at this. And he seems to have some history with Izzy as well." Hobbs said and I took the file. I opened it.

"Deckard Shaw." Dom read. "God damn it..." I muttered as I rubbed my face. "British Special Forces Assassin. The kind of unique asset that no government would ever admit to employing." Hobbs said.

"Black Ops boys." Dom said. "Worse. They created a monster." Hobbs said. "They felt Shaw was a necessary evil until, eventually, they decided he was unnecessary. The powers that be felt that he knew just a little bit too much. The asset became a liability. So, they sent in 20 elite operatives to retire him." I explained.

"And they missed." Dom said. "That was six years ago and Shaw's been a ghost ever since." Hobbs said. "So, what's your history with him?" Dom asked me. I sighed. "The night I found out I was pregnant with RaeLynn, Owen had disappeared, but Deckard found me. I explained and he helped me get the narrative that I disappeared to Owen." I explained.

"Until now." Dom said. "How do we find him?" Dom asked. "The official answer is you don't." Hobbs said. "He finds you." I said. "He killed Han, almost killed my family. And we don't even know where Gisele is." Dom said.

"He also tried to put me in a body bag, too. Which is why when I get out, I'm gonna put a hurt on him so bad, he's gonna wish his mama had kept her legs closed. But until then, my official answer to you is stand down." Hobbs said.

"Now, you know we can't do that." Dom said. "I do know you, Dom, Izzy, which is why now I give you the brother-to-brother, and brother-to-sister answer. You do whatever it is you've gotta do. When you find that son of a bitch, just do me one favor." Hobbs said. "What's that?" I asked. "Don't miss." Hobbs said.

*3rd POV*

| Meanwhile in the Dominican Republic |

The rest of the family was in a house to keep them safe as Mia was thanking their caretaker. Mia was holding Jack as RaeLynn held Evelyn. But the man gave his phone to Mia. "Dom, Izzy." Mia said.

"Yeah, Mia, it's us." Izzy answered as her and Dom walked through the hospital. "How's it going there?" Izzy asked. "We're at Mando's. This place is like a fortress. You should see Brian and Kayson. They're full FBI mode. They built a surveillance hub in Mando's garage and everything. What about you two? Did you find out who's after us?" Mia asked as RaeLynn followed after her aunt.

"Looks like the sins of London have followed us home. How did the Buster take the news?" Izzy asked. "I can't tell him." Mia said. "If he knew about the baby, he'd stay here with us. And with all that's going on, you're gonna need him and Kayson by your sides. Just watch out for him. Keep him safe and come home together." Mia said.

"Tell Brian and Kayson we'll see them in L.A. in two days." Izzy said as her and Dom walked into an elevator. "Where are you going?" Mia asked. "Tokyo. We're bringing Han home." Izzy answered.

"Authorities are still trying to determine the motive behind this daring attack here at the office of the U.S. Diplomatic Security Service in downtown Los Angeles less than 36 hours ago. The facts are still coming in, but what is known is the suspect entered the building's fourth floor where he was engaged by a DSS agent..." A news reporter said as Brian and Kayson were watching as Mia and RaeLynn walked over.

"Hey." Brian said as Mia rubbed his back. "You okay, dad?" RaeLynn asked Kayson. "Yeah. This guy's just... relentless." Kayson said as he held RaeLynn close. "That's why Dom and Izzy need you both. You four need to find this guy and you need to stop him before he does any more damage to our family." Mia said.

"You know, I just-- I've screwed up so many things. I couldn't live with myself if I screw this up, too." Brian said looking at all of them. "You won't. I believe in you. I believe in us. That's all that matters. I love you, Brian." Mia said softly and her and Brian kiss. 

RaeLynn made fake gagging noises causing them all to laugh. Brian made a promise to Mia as they all held each other close.
