Part 2
Théoden sat atop a small grassy knoll overlooking the gates of Falonia where his small group of black armored soldiers stood watch with the silver armored Falonians. The sun was setting over the black plumes of smoke in the distance and he knew it was only a matter of time before the Laminkan army, led by his father's eldest councilman, Zavier, breached the border.
He should be working with the soldiers to figure out a battle plan to protect the remaining Falonians behind the gates, but his mind was elsewhere, back in the cave where the elements spoke to him. The power that Nalaina breathed into him still tingled in his veins and he swore he could still see the faint lines of the silver markings over his skin. What did she do to him?
"Théoden?"
Nalaina's soft voice called to him. He looked over his shoulder and his heart churned, beating a little fast as he scrambled to stand in her presence walking through the clearing of the forest dressed in flowing robes of navy and gold. Her curly black hair falling down around her shoulders, her swirling golden markings and her bright brown eyes glowed in the setting sun.
"Nalaina, are...are you feeling okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine," she said as she stood next to him and looking at their soldiers below. "Your men are working well with my warriors. I didn't think you had such loyal men."
"Only a few, but they're my closest friends and allies. They were happy to break rank to join my cause," he looked down at her. "I'm glad you're feeling better."
"Thank you," she sighed. "I'm sure you have some questions about what happened in the cave," she said tucking her robes beneath her and sitting in the grass below them.
"I do," he said, sitting next to her and staring at his hands. "You left something inside of me when you drank my blood, what was that?"
A small smile tugged at her lips. "I didn't leave anything. I woke something in you," she said as she trailed her fingers over the grass. "There's much you don't know about our kind and who you really are," she sighed.
"Who I really am? What does that mean?"
"Do you remember the night we met?"
"Yes," he nodded. He remembered that night vividly. He walked for miles not knowing where he was going but a need drove him to the thick forests on the border of Laminka and Falonia where he found Nalaina bathed in moonlight waiting for him. "You were surprised it was me who appeared in the clearing."
"I was," she chuckled softly. "That was the night I was destined to meet my Fated and instead of meeting a Falonian like my mother and the Queens before me, I met you, the King of our enemies."
"Fated...that's what the elements called me when you drank from me."
"Yes and we should have shared our blood that night, but I didn't trust the will of our Goddess and I didn't trust you. It's been centuries since a Laminkan was the Fated of a Falonian Queen and I feared you'd been brainwashed by the beings who raised you. It was hard to believe you were a true Laminkan."
"What do you mean a true Laminkan?"
"Did you ever wonder why you're the only one of your kind that can fly on the wind and bend it to your will?"
"I–" he frowned. "How did you know that about me? I've always been careful to hide it. I always felt like I had to."
"You were right to do that," Nalaina said, taking a deep breath. "You were just a baby when King Dreyfus and Queen Galina conquered your kind and infected the minds of the people we were meant to protect. Your birth parents died trying to save the Laminkans from their terror, but Dreyfus and Galina kept you to use your power to one day enslave the Falonians," she said looking up at him. "And you know the story of my parents and their demise."
Theoden stared at her wide eyed with his mouth agape. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know how to process the information she shared. "I...Nalaina. I'm – how...how do you know this?"
"My people have an extensive history of the happenings of this world. I can show you the stories of the true Laminkans who guarded the skies alongside the Falonians who guarded the world below."
"I-I don't know what to think right now. You've just told me my life is a lie," Théoden said, dragging his hands through his thick black hair. "If Dreyfus and Galina weren't my parents, then who or what were they?" he said, placing a hand over his heart. "And what does it mean to be your Fated?"
"I know this is a lot to take in," she said, clenching her hands together. "Being my Fated means our souls are twin flames. We've always been connected. Goddess Oreña chose us to end the rift between our kind and rid our world from the Efeydomus, the darkness from another world. What Dreyfus and Galina were, what your councilmen are."
Théoden let out a slow breath as her words settled over him. "So, let me just get this straight. I'm the last of my kind, the people who raised me are dark beings from another world and we are soulmates meant to end the war and save our people from the Efeydomus?"
"Yes, basically. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before," she looked away from him, pulling her knees to her chest. "We could've stopped this war before it began, but I was being stubborn. I thought I could fix this without you. I'm a terrible Queen."
"No, you're not." Théoden shook his head. "You were doing what you thought was best for your people, just like I'm trying to do the same. I think I always knew something wasn't right about the people around me and I guess I have a lot to learn about what my kind and who I am," he said, wiping the tear rolling down her cheek. "I never lied to you when we met. I'll do whatever it takes to stop Zavier and my councilmen from enslaving our world."
She curled her fingers around his hand. "You will join your life with mine?"
He looked into her tearful brown eyes and the tingle in his veins ignited in need as he slowly nodded. "Nalaina, I've thought about you every day since we met. When the war broke out you were the first person I thought to protect and if I knew what I was to you when we first met I wouldn't have let you walk away from me," he said pressing his forehead against hers. "So, yes I want to join my life with yours."
She slid her hands to his cheeks. "Then it shall be done," she whispered as she pressed her plump lips against his.

Ravenous hunger for Nalaina's body, her touch and her blood took over him as they writhed together amongst a soft bed of silk sheets and their forgotten clothes.
Théoden dragged his lips over her neck, he could feel her excited pulse and smell her need as his tongue traced a golden swirl on her skin. She gasped and shuddered beneath him, rocking her hips against his hard cock driving him deeper inside of her and closer to his release.
"Drink from me," she moaned, as her fingers gripped his hair, holding his face against her neck.
A low guttural growl escaped his lips at her command. His incisors elongated and pierced her smooth skin. Colors burst behind his eyes at the taste of her blood on his tongue. He groaned, drowning in her sweet essence as her power flooded his senses.
*You are mine and we are one.* Nalaina's voice spread through his mind as she cried out in ecstasy from his vigorous thrust.
Théoden dragged his lips from her neck to her mouth and muffled her beautiful screams as she sucked on his tongue. He'd never felt so consumed by passion or so consumes by one being. He felt her heart, saw her deepest desires and her beautiful soul weaved itself around him. He never wanted this to end and his soul would never love another.
Stars exploded behind his eyes as he gripped her hips and dug his fingers into her skin. Foliage bloomed in a burst of colors and blanketed the bedding beneath them. The marble walls shook as they cried out in pleasure and succumbed to the orgasm that erupted from them.
Théoden gasped and trembled as he rolled off her in the bed of silk and greenery. He pulled her sweaty body into his arms and pressed his lips to her forehead. "Forevermore, Nalaina," he mumbled as his eyes drooped closed. "You are my Queen and I am your King."
"And we shall never part," she whispered as the hum of power that tingled in the air settled over them like a soft warm blanket and lulled them into a comforting slumber.
Tomorrow they would end the war.

Here's a little snippet from I Never Want to Leave Your Side:
"My walls have always been down for you," he said, sliding his hands over her hips and lifting her in his arms. She gasped wrapping her legs around his waist, their foreheads touching, getting lost in their swirling gold eyes. "Just let me in Miri. I won't let anything happen to you."
Her fingers trailed over his lips as she watched his truth swirl in his eyes.
"Why are you fighting this?" he murmured.
"I don't know," she whispered as she slid her hands into his hair and her heart pounded and ached to open up to him.
"Let me see you," he whispered, kissing her softly. His God's insignia lit up in a soft glow on his forehead as his power shimmered around him entwining with hers.
If there was one person she could show her whole soul to, it was Niklaus. She was just scared he wouldn't accept her and it wouldn't be easy for her to let it go.
I want to, but I'm scared. The thought floated across her mind.
He stilled, pulling away from her and sliding a hand to her cheek.
Reya, it's just me, you should never be afraid to share anything with me.
Her heart pounded at the love shining in his green eyes. Her soul ached to give herself to him.
Promise me you will still love me.
She watched his eyes shimmer and brighten as his essence vibrated through her veins and he molded his body to hers.
I promise.
He kissed her and she melted into his embrace as they ignited in a flash of white leaving the desolated arena behind them.

I hope you enjoyed that! As always thank you so, so much for reading, Little bees!
