"We had an interesting conversation with Vik today."

"Oh?"

I look at Suzy and she nods her head.

"Today was music day and we joined up with Dan's class. And as we discussed previously, Ethan is it that class."

Vik makes it back to my side and hands me a little instrument. Without any explanation, he takes off again.

"While they are cute, the school does have a bit of a PDA policy and I've never had to enforce it before, but..."

"What'd they do?"

"Towards the end of the lesson, they snuck off. Just outside the door, but... the best I can explain it was, they were making out."

It takes two seconds before we are both bursting with laughter.

"I mean, they're little so they're just kinda mashing their faces together, but oh my god. I asked them about it and Vik said it's how my Papa and Daddy do it."

"He said that a lot at the daycare as well."

"I've just... in my years of teaching I've never wanted to laugh more while I reprimand kids."

"I'll talk to them about it, but I will say it'll probably happen again."

"They're cute."

"Yes they are."

Vik comes back at that moment and stars pulling me out the door.

"Come on Papa! Let go! Etan is waitin!"

"Okay, baby. We are going! Say bye to Mrs. Hanson."

"BYE SUZY!"

"Bye Vik!"

"Thanks Suzy!"

"VIKKY!"

"ETAN!"

The boisterous ginger boy slams into Vik and they just hug and hug and hug.
