A week and a half later, I'm still feeling weird. Laying in my bed, I flip the channel to Nickelodeon. I throw the remote down beside me and let out a sigh as Astor comes in, three-fifty-five on the dot.
"Hey, princess." He comes over to me and presses a kiss to my forehead before laying down beside me, laying his head in my lap so I can play with his hair.
"Hey, you." I smile and run my fingers through his hair.
"How's my princess doing today?" He grabs my other hand and interlocks our fingers.
"Same as usual. But I want to go back to school." I whine. I've miss it, I really have.
"Baby..." He sit up and looks at me with a stern face.
"Babe...." I mock him, smiling slightly. It makes him smile for a few seconds before he becomes serious again.
"You're still not completely well. You said your head still hurts." He places his hand on the back of my head and kisses my temple.
"Yes, but it hurt even before this." I was able to remove the wrap from my head a few days ago. Still having to take my meds, they seem to be the only thing helping my headaches. Other than when Astor is here to distract me.
He sends me a glare out of the corner of his eye.
"Astor, I will do what I want to, and you will not stop me. I want to go to school. I've already been gone for two weeks and I'm probably failing all of my classes. I need to." I give him the puppy eyes.
He grins. "You know, you're sexy when you're bossy."
"I'm serious!" I blush, trying not to laugh.
"Fine." He sighs. "But if anything happens, you need to tell me. If you're not feeling good, either come get me or text me and I will take you home. Ok?" I nod and he grabs both of my hands, pressing a light kiss to the back of them.
"Thank you." I tell him, giving him a lingering kiss to his lips. He moans a 'You're welcome' and scoots closer on the bed to me. He puts his hands behind my head so lightly, I barely feel them. He pushes me back softly into the pillows, one hand now on my waist, the other on my cheek. I forget all about my headache as he deepens the kiss, making butterflies appear in my stomach. I don't remember having a headache for the rest of the night.

Waking up, I roll over and snuggle into his warmth.
"Hey." His deep voice sounds in the quiet room. He presses a kiss to the top of my head.
"Mm." I mumble and pull the covers over my face.
"Baby..." He pecks under the covers and I smile up at him. My cheeky, dimpley, innocent smile.
"Awe, sweetheart." He leans in a gives me a quick kiss. "I'm gonna go get ready in the bathroom so you can change in here." He winks at me. "I know how you like your privacy. " He gets up without covering himself.
"Jeeze! At least cover yourself!" I screech, hiding my face in my pillow.
"Oh baby, it's nothing you haven't seen before." He winks and grabs his stuff and walks into the bathroom and shuts the door. I jump up and grab all my clothes, realising I need to take a shower. Not even caring that Astor is in there changing, I open the door.
"Knew you couldn't resist takin' a peek." He teases me but I just roll my eyes and smile.
"I need to shower. " I drop all my things and hop in the shower and wash up. When I get out, Astor is laying across my bed, fully clothed and ready. Compared to his Kiki's and tee-shirt, I look like a bum; in my sweatpants and tee-shirt.
"Ready?" He sits up. Not even wanting to care today, I nod. No make-up for me today. I grab my book bag and head down to thw kitchen with Astor. Thankfully, Clarissa is still asleep so I ransack the cabinets for a pop-tart, giving a 'ah ha!' when I find one. Munching on one, since they are in a pack of two, I give the other to Astor and he eats it's before walking out to the door. He holds the door open for me and I get in. He comes around the other side.
"I want you to not work so hard today. You do, and I'll make sure they expell you so you can't work." He smiles, showing he's teasing. I just nod and as he pulls on to the road, left hand on the steering, he grabs my hand with his right. He beings it up to his lips and gives it a lingering kiss.
Today's not off to a bad start. Let's see how long that'll last.

Literally, I don't get it. No one ever comments, or votes. Or even shares. But then there's the people who have a book that's so crappy because they didn't write it good and it's like a chapter, maybe two, and they have a crap ton of more reads and votes and comments. Like what the heck. Can anyone explain this to me?
Sorry for my mini rant. Hope y'all liked the chapter. Not sure how long it'll be till I have the next one up.
Till next time, loves.
