"If you could have any super power what would you want?" Me and Astor are sitting in Munchies three days after my conversation with Claire. It's dead in here since everyone is still in school so we are binge eating ice cream and playings the question game.

"Hm.. I'd have the power to change the future. Anyone's future. 'Cause then everyone could be happy and there would never be any violence." He takes a spoon full of his ice cream and looks at me in wonder. "I got one." He grins and points his spoon at me. "What do you look forward to in your future?"

I stop to think for a few minutes.

"A good family. Having kids at a good age, having a good job, teaching the kids right from wrong. Just growing a perfect family. I mean of course it won't always be perfect but i don't want my future kids to have to struggle in life. Its just not right. I don't have it in me to let someone I love get hurt and not be able to support them self." I shrug. "I want to help everyone in the world, and I know it's impossible, but I can at least help my future family." I look up at him to see him starting in amazement. I blush under his stare.

It's silent for a few minutes before he speaks.

"Come on. There's something I want to show you." He finishes his ice cream before grabbing my hand and leading me out to his car. I finish the rest of my ice cream and throw the cup away before getting into his car. He goes around to the back and pops the truck before coming back around to me. He hands me a pillow and a hoodie.

"It might be a few hours before we get there. I don't want you to be uncomfortable." He presses a kiss to my forehead before lightly shutting the door and coming around to the drivers side.

"Where are we going?" I ask when he puts the car in drive and pulls away from the parking lot.

"You'll see." He takes a sip of my water from my water bottle.

I throw the hoodie over my head, inhaling the smell of his cologne.

"Why are you smelling my hoodie?" He asks and when I look over, hes smirking at me.

"Because it smells like you, ding dong. And I like it." I put the pillow under my head and snuggle into it and his hoodie, making myself comfortable. He reaches over and grabs my hand. He brings it to his lips and presses a lingering kiss on my knuckles. It gives me butterflies. He places our interlocked hands on my lap and I fall into a deep sleep.

He doesn't realize I'm awake as we stop at a gas station a half hour after I dozed off. I've only been aware for a few moments, as I hear the car door close and him pumping the gas. I look over my shoulder and see him walking into the gas station, to pee I'm assuming. I take out my phone and start doing some more research on what Claire has told me. So far I've found nothing. Hearing Astor dealing with the gas, I pocket my phone and pretend to me asleep. He gets in and I feel his eyes on my for a second before he leans over and presses a soft kiss to my temple. This time, I fall asleep and don't wake up for a while.

Short, I know. I've been busy y'all. I'm a junior in HS with a ton of homework. I'm sorry!!!
