Hi, I'm Ink. Inktale Sans.

Before the story begins, there are a few things you must know.

First, in the Undertale Universe, the identity of Gaster is the one according to MatPat's 3 Game Theories about him. If you haven't watched them, here's a rundown:

The theory goes that Gaster's mind split. Two pieces of his mind split off, the one from the left becoming Sans, the one from the right becoming Papyrus. The three of them are all the same person. This is why both Sans and Papyrus have Gaster Blasters and knowledge of timelines, they inherited it. I know what you're thinking, 'Papyrus doesn't have Gaster Blasters or timeline knowledge!' But the evidence says different. The truth is, Papyrus was playing dumb and using it as an advantage. At the end of the Pacifist Route, Papyrus says 'THIS IS TRULY THE WORST POSSIBLE ENDING!' This infers he knows that there are other endings, other timelines. Also, if Frisk starts doing a Genocide Route but spares Papyrus, on his date, when she looks at his attacks he says, 'IF YOU HADN'T GIVEN UP, I WOULD HAVE HAD TO USE MY SPECIAL ATTACK AND YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN BLASTED TO- UHH...CAN WE CHANGE THE SUBJECT?' Blasted, hmm...like Gaster Blasted? I think that's enough proof. Back to Mat's theory. It continues with explaining that Sans, Papyrus, Gaster and his then assistant, Alphys, started doing DT Experiments. Gaster injected himself with vigorous amounts of DETERMINATION to test out his newest invention, the DT Extraction Machine. The machine malfunctioned, however, and erased Gaster from existence, shattering him across time and space. Only his two counterparts remembered him. Sans and Papyrus proceeded to move to Snowdin, where they just showed up one day and... asserted themselves.

But, hey that's just a theory. A Game Theory!

It's the same situation in Underfell. However, in Mafiatale, Gaster is simply Sans and Papyrus's dad. As for Underswap... I don't really know. I guess Blueberry has Gaster Blaster knows of timelines? Those two don't really talk about it much... It's not really mentioned in their part of the story so I guess it doesn't really matter for you readers.

Also, Frisk's a girl and her age differs per Universe. In Tale, she's 14. In Mafia, she's 11. In Fell she's 14 again and Swap Chara is 13.

Also, all the Sanses have an app on their phones called 'Multiverse Mailbox'. This allows them to text the other Sanses. The format of the story will change to a texting layout and the conversations between Sanses will be shown at a few points.

All phone numbers mentioned are not from your side of the fourth wall. They are fake on your side.

Time has no affect in the multiverse. One month could go by in one universe while an hour goes by in another. Don't ask why, I have no idea. I should really ask Sci about it. However, me and Error made up the idea of multiverse time. This is basically time in the multiverse itself, not in individual universes. If multiverse months/years/days/hours/etc. are mentioned, that's what we mean.

And, finally, any (Bold text in brackets) is the author, Catie, leaving notes for you, the reader. And she's sorry for breaking the fourth wall every time she does this.
