We Don't Bite
Frisk was woken by the sound of her alarm. She was exhausted. She'd only slept for 3 hours as it was 9am and the shift at Circus Baby's finished at 6am. She stood up and stumbled out of her room and down the stairs. Everyone, except Blue, was already downstairs.
'Heya, punk! You look exhausted!' Undyne said, seeing her.
'Well, I went to bed just after 6. It's now 9 so I had 3 hours' sleep. So, of course I'm tired. I'd be more worried if I wasn't,' Frisk said, leaning against the wall for support.
'My child, maybe you should go back to bed for a bit,' Toriel said. 'It's not healthy to have such little sleep.'
'That's a very...very good...idea...' Frisk said before falling asleep against the wall.
'HUMAN?!' Papyrus said, waking Frisk up with his load voice.
'Huh? I'm sorry... I'd better go back to bed,' she said, turning to go back upstairs.
'One last thing, my child,' Toriel said. 'I'll have to wake you up later. We're all going out for lunch.'
'Where to?' Frisk asked.
'A new place that opened a few days ago just down the road,' Toriel told her. 'It's called Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.'
'Oh, cool... WAIT, WHAT?' Frisk said, turning around to face the others. 'Freddy Fazbear's?! But...isn't that place for little kids?'
'The advert said it's for all ages. Don't worry, my child, I'm sure it will not be boring,' Toriel said.
'Do we have to? Can't we go somewhere else, please?' Frisk begged, desperately trying to convince them to not go.
'I'm sorry, my child. We've already made a reservation. Why is it you do not wish to go?' Toriel asked.
'Uh...it doesn't matter...I'm going to bed,' Frisk said, going upstairs to her room.
A few hours later, she was woken. It was Blue.
'kid, did you hear? we're going to freddy fazbear's,' he said.
'Yeah, I know,' Frisk said, sitting up.
'tori says we're going in about ten minutes. you might wanna start getting ready to go,' Blue said, leaving the room.
Frisk stood. She got changed, put on her shoes and went downstairs. Everyone else was already waiting. They go outside and because, as it wasn't far, they walked.
Frisk plugged in her earbuds and began listening to music. Blue suddenly pulled out one of them and put it to his ear hole. The song that was playing blasted into his skull.
'Welcome home, girls and boys
Time to play with brand new toys
Nightmares lurk inside your mind
Now no place is safe to hide.
You have nowhere to run
So why not join the fun?
At night, we come to life
Come closer, we don't bite.'
'you're not gonna calm yourself, listening to this song, y'know?' Blue said.
'I'm not trying to,' Frisk replied. 'I'm trying to prepare for what might happen.'
'kid, you're way too paranoid, you know that?' Blue said.
Frisk didn't respond. The two of them were silent for the rest of the walk, just listening to the songs playing.
They soon reached the restaurant. When they went inside, the first thing Frisk's eyes went to was the animatronics. There were two singing onstage; a golden bear wearing a purple hat and bowtie, Fredbear, and a golden rabbit, Spring Bonnie/Golden Bonnie/Springtrap. Young children were gathered around the stage, cheering and yelling. There were employees around the restaurant, wearing the robots in suit mode.
One of the waiters came up to the group and took them to their table. They ordered a variety of pizzas and their drinks.
'This is a wonderful place, is it not,' Toriel said. 'There's even an arcade.'
'It's w-weird, how alike the s-s-suits and animatronics are,' Alphys said.
'It's because they are the same,' Frisk said. 'They are functional as animatronics but the mechanical parts can be compressed with springlocks so they don't harm the wearer.'
'Woah. I'd r-r-really like to learn m-more about that,' Alphys said.
The pizzas eventually arrived. They were...horrible. They tasted like plastic. But it was a kids' pizza place that's main pride was its animatronics. What more could really be expected?
'I need the go to the bathroom,' Frisk said, just after they finished to disgusting meal.
On her way out of the restroom, however, she saw a boy. One she recognised. They had a black shirt with two thick, grey stripes on it. They wore blue shorts and grey shoes and had brown hair. They were holding a plush toy, even though they seemed too old to have one in public, given as they were around Frisk's age. The plush was a toy Fredbear.
It was the crying child from FNAF 4. Only, he didn't look upset or scared. Why was that?
Frisk pushed the thought from her head and decided to come back to it later. Toriel would get worried if she didn't come back to the table soon. However, the place had filled up considerably and she couldn't see the table or any of her family with all the people around.
'Just great. I'm lost,' she said aloud to herself.
'Lost?' a voice behind her said. She turned around to see one of the employees. They were wearing one of the Golden Bonnie suits. 'Someone just came up to me saying their daughter had gone missing. Is that you?'
'Was the person a goat woman?' Frisk asked.
'Yes,' the employee said.
'That's my mom!' Frisk said. 'Can you take me to her?'
'Sure! Follow me,' the employee said. He led her through a door labeled 'Employees Only'. He then took her to a door that was almost hidden, the safe room, and opened it. Frisk stepped inside.
Toriel wasn't there. No one was. Frisk was about to say something about it when she saw five animatronic suits. Four of them had blood pouring from the gaps in the suits. And through those gaps Frisk could see human flesh. Human bodies. Children's bodies.
There was also another a suit. A yellow bear with a black hat and bowtie: Golden Freddy. It had no person inside it. Frisk knew this was because she was going to occupy it.
'Oh, my god,' Frisk gasped. There was a laugh behind her. The employee locked the door and started advancing towards Frisk.
He was the killer.
He was the Purple Guy.
Before she could do anything, he grabbed her a lifted her up, going toward the empty suit.
'LET ME GO!' Frisk yelled, struggling to escape Purple Guy's grasp.
'Now what makes you think I'd listen to you, you little brat?' he said.
What neither of them did know was that Ink and Error were watching from the multiverse.
'OH SHIT! FRISK IS GOING TO DIE! WE HAVE TO HELP!' Ink yelled.
'I-I-Ink, calm down. LeT'S just see wh-what happens,' Error replied, calmly.
'See what happens?! SEE WHAT HAPPENS?!' Ink yelled, confused at Error's idea. 'ARE YOU INSANE?! SHE'S ABOUT TO BE MURDERED AND YOU WANT TO JUST STANDBY AND WATCH?!'
'F-f-first, this is me YoU'Re talking a-a-about. I dON't care if sh-she dies. ALsO, it looks l-l-like she can HAnDlE it.'
Frisk had an idea. One that might just save her ass. She kicked Purple Guy right in the balls.
'AH! FUCK!' he screamed, dropping Frisk. She ran to the door, but, alas, it was still locked. 'YOU LITTLE SHIT!'
Purple Guy began to advance toward her again. That's when Frisk saw it. Through the one of the gaps in the Golden Bonnie suit, she could see his belt on which the keys hung. As he got closer, Frisk ran toward him. She shoved her hand in the gap and grabbed the key. As she pulled the keys out, there was a snap of springlocks.
'AH!' Frisk let out a sharp scream as she pulled her hand out fully. Her middle finger was bent in an odd direction, was covered in blood and had a slight bit of bone sticking out.
Purple Guy was also holding his side. Of course, the animatronic parts that springlock had been holding back had been driven into his side.
While he was preoccupied, Frisk gave him another kick in his private parts.
'FUCK!' he squeaked, sinking to the floor. Frisk turned and unlocked the door. She ran outside and locked the door to the safe room behind her, even though it was highly likely Purple Guy had a spare. She then turned around and prepared to run. But she bumped into something. Someone.
It was Crying Child. This time, he was really crying.
'YOU BITCH!' the voice of Purple Guy yelled through the door, banging on it.
'Run,' Frisk said to Crying Child, grabbing his hand with her good hand. She pulled him back into the main pizzeria. They ran to the arcade and couched behind one of the machines. They were both quiet for a few seconds before Crying Child burst into tears.
'Hey, it's okay. It'll be okay,' Frisk said. 'I'm Frisk, Frisk Dreemurr. What's your name?'
'Jack,' he said. 'J-Jack Afton.'
There was that name again. Afton.
'I... I can't believe it...' Jack said. 'M-my own dad, a m-murderer!'
And Frisk remembered why she knew the name William Afton.
