Sabrina rushed towards her best friend and bent down on her knees to face her. She tried her best to calm Christina down and told her to take in deep breaths. After she was sure that Christina could handle herself, she quickly slipped out her phone and dialled Dr.Patrick.

Sitting down beside Christina and lightly stroking her hair, Sabrina's vision blurred at her best friends current state. She blocked away the oncoming tears, willing herself to be composed for her friends sake.

After four rings the phone on the other line picked up, "Hello?"

"Dr. Patrick?" Sabrina's voice was hoarse due to the build up of emotions at the thought of losing Christina, she cleared it and began, "It's Sabrina Clark."

"Ah, okay. Is everything alright?"

"I'm afraid not, doctor. Christina and I, we're currently at an airport in Rio and waiting for our flight to Rome. She had been fine for the past few days, but just a while ago, she began crying and she held her heart with her hand... And I don't know what to make of it"

"Do you have the medicines I prescribed?"

Looking over to her tan handbag thrown across the seat she stretched her hand and took out a box of pills that Dr. Patrick had given to her in case of emergencies, "Yes I have it, shall I give it to her?"

"Yes and after doing so, could you please hand over the phone to Ms.Lock?"

"Yes sure doctor, just give me a minute," unscrewing a bottle of water taken out from her bag and taking out a pill, she handed them over to her best friend and after she had taken it, she handed her phone towards her, "Dr. Patrick wants to speak to you."

Nodding her head, Christina took Sabrina's phone and briefly told the Doctor what all had conspired in the pass few minutes. Her free hand played with the hem of her white t shirt and she tucked a strand of hair that fell in front of her eyes while she was talking to him. He advised her to rest for a day, just to be extra safe and cautious and told her to take care. They bid a goodbye and after their call ended, Christina handed Sab her phone back.

Sabrina had been intently listening to the conversation between Christi and Dr. Patrick and her vision blurred up with tears yet again.

Christina revealed that she was fine and explained meeting Brad but when she scanned the perimeter of the airport while the two siblings were bickering, she couldn't believe her eyes. An old man, accompanied by his wife and twin sons was carrying a backpack and clicking a photograph of the family near an art installation. It wasn't the happy family scene playing out in front of her eyes that shocked her, but the fact that the man who looked to be in his late forties, sporting close dark cropped dark hair looked like her father.

All the years she spent with him, - his apologies to her for yelling at her the day before for arriving home late at night and then later taking her out to get ice cream and promising each other to not reveal it to her mother because it was winter and Christi would catch a cold- all the memories played out in her memory like a movie and this sudden wave of pain at losing the people who mattered most to her caused her throat to well up and before she knew it she was a broken mess.

Christina was left with no family. Sure there were old relatives of her parents but they all just associated with them because of their fortune. Her maternal and paternal grand parents both were dead and so were her parents. She was an only child and never really got a long with her bratty cousins.

Sighing she turned her body towards Sabrina who was wiping her eyes and enveloped her into a hug, "Thank you. For everything."
