(Next Day)

"Good morning!" I say, stretching.

"Finally awake, huh?"

"You're also here, Clara?" I reply.

"Naturally. Actually, I was sent by ArchBlood HQ to observe you"

Clara Amphaeri. Female. 22 years old, Vampire. Another one of my childhood friends, Clara is actually a pure blood vampire, even though her light green eyes, blonde hair which is tied into short twin tails, and having great skill with a violin suggests otherwise. Second-in-command at ArchBlood Corp, the corporation itself was founded by her father and she is next in line to be CEO of the corporation, as her little brother is only 3. The corporation is a well known company, as it makes everything from smartphones and tablets to cars to designer clothing; but what the public doesn't know that it is also a Spec Ops and Black Ops corporation, which goes from protecting world leaders to taking down the world's/nation's worst criminals. She also likes to tell me things that go on in the company, along with having perfect grades, and amazing athlete skills.

"Observation? Why?" I ask.

"Apparently, they think you might be the reincarnation of Seren the Demon Lord"

"Me? A Demon Lord? This seriously has to be a joke because I can't even use magic at all!"

"That's exactly what I said too, but from what surveillance video suggest that you can use magic considering that you have a familiar as well"

"True"

Quick fact: Mages can use familiars.

"The only thing they worry about is that if you are really the reincarnation of Seren, your memories would awaken"

(9 hours later)

As I was in the park, I was approached by a hooded person.

"Are you Edward Evanston?"

"I guess?" I reply.

"Then die!"

The hooded person would've cut me in half with the crystal blade if I hadn't dodged it.

"Who are you?!?" I yell.

Then the person removed the cloak and revealed a 22 (approximately) year old girl, with blonde, long, and rather silky hair.

"I am Laura Edmonton, and also a paladin" she says.

"You're the paladin?!?"

Just great. Of all the people who had to be an enemy.

"I don't think we'll be able to get out of this unscathed if we don't at least knock her out" Charlotte says.

"Yeah, I think so too" I reply.

"Manifest me" She says.

"I'll do this myself, don't worry about it" I say.

As I get out a stun gun and some water grenades (it just disperses water as it explodes), I throw 10 water grenades as Laura charges toward me. Luckily, the water dispersed and I fired my stun gun, which made an unavoidable trap, which then stunned Laura so that I could knock her out.
